Yeah in the larger cities there are some. They are usually religious, in my town there was one but it was way worse than the public school. The private universities are significantly worse in Canada too.

Army dependent.
Public school till 8th grade (where I am from there wasn't a difference in quality at those ages) then private Catholic School for two years and Department of Defense overseas for two years in high school
