Be careful. I heard this rumor that in the private sector, unlike the Air Force, they actually make you work.

You should consider "working" for Satan. Pharmaceuticals, my boy. Good ol' American Pharmaceuticals! Mucho dinero para no mucho trabajo. The devil pays well.

Unless you're butt arse ugly.

Is it true that in the Army it is mandatory to use hooah at least twice in any sentence, spoken or typed?

I only use it when I'm annoyed with someone or when forced to in a group setting. It's a terrible word.

So instead you use 'too easy', 'good to go', and 'trackin'?

Not a fan of the Boobs & Bagels industry at all (Pharma) & they have downsized a bunch from the hey days when I got out (first job out was with Pfizer, were military friendly in that they want people to regurgitate a script). Look to hook up with a couple of the good JMO recruiters. They will do a good job prepping you and usually have a good tracking record of placing JOs with military friendly companies. May want to look into OR devices. If you do well and get in good with your Docs you may find the comradere similar to the military. Being a Supo will help a bunch in the transition (I was a grunt and it took me some time to realize that civilian "leadership" is really pure management with a hefty dose of intracompany politics)

Oh yeah, if they offer any bit of disability take it. I refused 15% for ankles/lumbar and 10% for hearing because I had been told it can impact your ability to get insurance. Well it doesn't and if you get it documented prior to EAS it makes it easier to adjust it with the VA if something happens later on in life (like your ankles become a huge issue or back goes bad & you are really disabled).

Thought for sure your post would be something like:

"TBird, your military career is done. It's over."
