re: Get to know your fellow poster.....

I lurked here for a while before registering an account while sick one week. Someone had posted something in the ATPB thread about someone I know that was completely false, so I registered to correct that person. I eventually started trolling that thread by making up complete lies to see how far some would take them. One lie ended up on that Blue Tuna guy's blog.

I quit here for a while after that thread, then remembered I had an account here while recovering from surgery. Mainly post here and the Bama board, and occasionally the SECR.

I like music, food, talking about my glory days of drug use, babes, and playing devil's advocate in political discussions. I live in Birmingham with a wife and 2 kids, and sometimes I feel like Babbitt from the acclaimed Sinclair Lewis book of the same name.

TbirdSpur2010. Graduate and loudest/proudest member of the PERFECT Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2010. My degree is in Marketing from Mays Business School. 25 years old. Currently serving on active duty in the United States Air Force (along with my lovely wife, who is Aggie Class of '11) in Missouri. I am black. I am Christian. I am conservative.

My username comes from my ROTC Unit's mascot, Squadron Thunderbird 3, in the Fightin' Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets. My favorite professional franchise is the San Antonio Spurs, and of course my college grad year is '10.

I discovered Tigerdroppings during the lead up to the 2011 Cotton Bowl between A&M and LSU (I was a senior at the time). Had a good time, but didn't really start posting regularly until conference realignment rumors started back up. Primarily post on this board, AggyArk™, the MSB, and the main Rant (although I'll hit up the PoliBoard and the other O-T occasionally). I also post on TexAgs.com under the same username, post on SpursTalk.com under "LoneStarState'sPride," and am a part time moderator for the Spurs' SBNation blog, PoundingTheRock

The details of my life and who I am are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

I'm Bama Bird. I've been a poster since 2011, lurker since 2010.

I remember when the SEC Rant was still a part of Tigerdroppings. I found this site during ATPB. I didn't follow it religiously or anything, I just read it once. Later in the offseason, I was very bored and remembered the name Tigerdroppings. I came back here and this place kept me entertained. I finally created an account in December and that's my story.

I mainly post here now. The SEC Rant has gotten too combative, or maybe I'm just not up for the back and forth anymore. I also post semi-frequently on the MSB.

I love dogs, Penn State, classical music, and college football. I'm an alumnus of The University of Alabama. I'll be attending Penn State Law beginning next fall and I couldn't be more proud to be a member of the Penn State community.
