I'm assuming the players who are very talented are well compensated in college and the others are at least getting schollys... Not saying that all these people making millions of dollars are in the right because they do need to share the bigger pieces of pie... But come on let's not act like the players are barely getting by..

Zimmerman should never have been tried for murder. There just wasn't enough evidence. Now personally I think he's a scumbag and definitely murdered the kid, but unfortunately his side of the story is the only that was told.

I don't know a whole lot about the Dunn trial, but the verdict just looks weird to me. A hung jury on the murder of the one kid, but he is guilty of attempting to murder the other 4? What if he had killed those 4, would the jury been hung as well? That tells me the law is poorly written and should be done away with. But again, that's just looking at the verdict and not knowing much about the trial.

Yeah, this is what pisses me off. Everyone repeats the same sob story, "ohhhhh the schools are taking advantage of these players, it's like slavery, they should be paid". No. horseshite. They get a better scholarship than any of their fellow students could ever hope to sniff, and have literally no expenses outside of their bar tabs.

Cry me a river. They get a full ride and more, and the best ones will never even graduate.

They were given a choice of murder 1, murder 2, manslaughter, etc. Without knowing what went on in the jury room, I can only assume some of them wanted murder 1, some wanted manslaughter, whatever, and they finally all agreed, screw that count, he'll be in jail the rest of his life anyway on the rest of the counts.

I don't really understand why this story is getting so much play. It's not like he's walking free.

Okay that makes a little more sense. I should know not to judge a book by its cover.

Some people need institutional racism to exist in order for them to have a livelihood.

I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Trayvon assaulted an armed man and deserved to die. The system worked almost flawlessly.

Some, not most.

Again, doesn't apply to all.

And also doesn't override the unjustness of not being able to profit off their own damn names.
