ps, are there any Lee's still around? They were Shoney's answer to KFC and used formulas of one of the Colonel's relatives. In the 80's they tasted like KFC did in the 60's and 70's.

Publix. Memphis grocery stores suck. Just opened a sprouts a couple of weeks ago. It's nice but 30 minutes from my house.

Even us folks in San Mexico have an In N Out. Although since I have quarterly business trips to Irvine (and everyone ALWAYS wants to eat there), the luster has worn off. The one in SA is about 10 minutes from my office but I have yet to eat there.

We pretty much have everything I feel like. Maybe in and out, I've never had it but everyone says it's great.

i'm pretty happy chain wise.

we have Whataburger, Panera, McAllisters, Five Guys, Smash Burger, Jason's Deli, CFA, Bush's (just like Zaxby's in the Central Texas area, but with better sweet tea,) and Chipotle. We're building a Freddy's Steakburger and Panera now. I feel like we do good on the chain thing for a town of only 60k

The only additions i might like are an In N Out and a Freebirds.

If anyone comes to Lexington for a game this fall and get a hankerin' for the best damn fried chicken shack in the world, make sure you hit up the drive-thru at Indi's on N. Broadway.

Get a three piece spicy and some tater wedges, have your life changed.

You can go in to!

if you are in that area then a trip to LSB is called for. All kinds of "comfort" food served buffet style and under 10 bucks. Just bring cash as they do not accept plastic.
