One Thing Old People Believe that Isn't True:

1. The idiots you see all over social media are the majority of our generation.

Houston was already a Dem stronghold in TX.

Hurricane Katrina did make landfall in Louisiana in Plaquamines Parish near Venice and Boothville. That's still part of the Greater New Orleans area.

Obviously not the whole truth, but a contributing factor.

Yes and no. Generally, in order to be certified organic, certain conditions have to be met: no genetically modified crops, restrictions on pesticides, restrictions on types of fertilizers used. However, there are many "organic" products out there that are not certified and are no different from the regular thing except for being more expensive.

I wouldn't say "excellent", but she's had some solid performances in some great roles.

Copying and redistributing intellectual property, such as music, is totally legal, as long as you admit you aren't the owner of the property.

If a whole generation believes that then the law can change to make it true. Unlike the rest of the list this is something that can change when there is political will.

Not that I am advocating music piracy, just saying.

The belief that if someone doesn't like them it's because that person is jealous. Maybe you're an a-hole, maybe they're an a-hole, it's called life.

Yeah that's more of a currently 12 years old or younger thing right now.

I mean for fricks sake 911 is one of the first things you are taught. If anyone born before 97 thinks this they're retarded.

That's simply not true. Sure, an argument can be made if one is healthier than the other, that's up for debate, but organically grown foods are definitely a more sustainable/environmentally friendly practice.

When you can only grow a fraction of the food you could with modern agriculture, how is that somehow more "sustainable"? Organic food is a huge drain on the land because it takes so much more acreage to grow the same damn food. It's driving food prices up across the world as we have more and more mouths to feed and less food and less usable land to do it with. Organic food is a cancer on the food industry and it's only getting worse.

But "organic" makes the limousine liberals and do-gooders feel better about themselves. They are are saving the world. frick the unwashed masses that buy their groceries at Wal-Mart.

ETA: Unfortunately, not just the young'uns but other pin-heads believe this:

The minimum wage is actually a good idea.

It also creates less water pollution from fertilizer runoff, requires less irrigation, the food packs more nutrition, crops exhaust land less quickly if at all, and less pesticides means less damage to bee colonies.

There are benefits and drawbacks to every agricultural system.
