Every single state in the South should approve the sale of marijuana.

We should ban together on this topic.

The 1960's experienced shrooms and marijuana.

The 1970's experienced LSD and marijuana.

The 1980's experienced the emergence of cocaine and marijuana.

The 1990's experienced crack and marijuana.

The 2000's experienced needles of what ever you wanted and marijuana.

And, now the 2010's have new drugs with new names hidden within "medical prescriptions" to treat everything in the book...in addition to still having marijuana.

We've also been brain-washed into addictions such as cigarettes (the ULTIMATE cause of lung cancer in the world...to date).

Maybe weed isn't the problem.

Weed, compared to the rest of these drugs is TAME by far.

We may just need a bit of "government regulations" in providing this for our States right now, but I am all for that, if necessary. I understand the need for laws, and can respect that accordingly.

But weed should be legal in all Southern states. I don't see the harm in doing so.

Way better than alcohol. And way less harmful than crack and meth.

With all the Republicans the south has, it'll be another 100 years before weed is legalized in the south.

Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Illinois agree.

Would love to see Georgia take the leap.

Legalization...with stipulations.

I see no problem with that.

Psychedelics should be legal too. There's no logical reason as to why someone can't explore their own mind if they choose to do so; it is their mind, after all.

Drugs like meth and crack only exist because of how we've demonized anything that isn't alcohol and put them in 1 category of "drugs". Crack is not the same as marijuana, yet both are "drugs"? That's a little disingenuous if you ask me.

As long as you can handle it, I see no problem.

Some of my best ideas have come from experimenting with drugs.

For me, marijuana releases all of the stress from my brain that everyday life can put on you over time, and helps me to remember the more peaceful and meaningful objectives that I really meant to seek for in the first place.

The worst "drug" in the world for me right now is STRESS. Talk about poisonous to your mind.

Didn't Canada just legalize nationally?

They are voting in 2017.

If so, their congress must first pass a law to "decriminalize" it from Canadian law. (which is expected to pass)

And then "legalize" it in a second act. (which is also expected to pass...after being discussed with stipulations from their congress on how to regulate it properly).

It will all come down to money, just like all government decisions.

It will probably be alot like how the Netherlands handle marijuana laws right now. You can buy regulated weed, but if you try to grow it or sell it...you are looking at a felony. And you can only have so much in your "pocket" at a time. You can also smoke all you want at "weed bars" as long as you can function outside and make it back home.

Just like an alcohol bar in the United States. Just do it responsibly and you will be fine.

I don't understand the hate on meth... The FDA has determined daily use of methamphetamine HCl aka desoxyn, is perfectly legit for 6 year olds

It would be interesting to see the negative impact on the cartels and prison corp industry.

Jesus said thou shall not smoke weed.
It's in the Bible. Just ask any Southern Evangelical Republican.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Sorry to hear your life is so bad that you have to "leave reality" for a brake. The above verse is a much better answer. I've been sober 19 years and don't miss it.

3-2-1...attack me.

Just a reminder that Jesus allegedly turned water into fricking wine. That sober mind though!

And the next verse says "yea verily, and everyone drank until they stumbleth"

oh wait, no it doesn't

jesus was not opposed to wine because in moderation, alcohol does not seriously alter state of mind. the key there being moderation

i am not opposed to weed being legalized if doctors can present sound scientific evidence that in moderation, it does not seriously alter state of mind.

i doubt that will happen though, since nobody would smoke it if you didn't get the high

would jesus be opposed to weed? i don't know honestly. i do think that he would probably be opposed to the obsession with it that so many people have.

Kentucky will be one of the last one to do so sadly. We could probably solve our teacher retirement fund crisis if we did. But the idiots out in the state here even fought them legalizing hemp again.
