I don't even use the soap, just water. Started shaving this way in Vietnam. Occasionally use shaving cream for a special occasion and I want to insure no irritation, but this is rare.
I do the same. Hop in the shower, shave and move on. Why people make it some ritual in front of the mirror and waste money on shaving cream I have no idea. The results are exactly the same, one just saves time and money.

Until about a year ago, I was a Schik Quattro man...that was before my wife bought me a Gillette ProGlide Power razor. I freaking love this thing. I use it with Neutrogena shave cream. I get a great shave with no razor burn.

Best tip...always dry off your blade after you use it. It dramatically increases the life of the blade.

I've been using it for years...I went from foam to gel creams...but nothing works like the Neutrogena. I will never go back.

Agree. I changed a few years ago. I actually bought a tube of it to go in my travel bag because the metal cans were so heavy. Trying to pack less than 50 pounds of clothes for a two week trip is not easy. Loved it and never looked back.

I used it this morning and liked it. I also bough the Neutrogena lotion for after shaving. Put it on too. Very nice.

How do you guys dry them off, I mean I set it on the counter, but I'm assuming you are hand drying it with a towel, hair dryer, etc?

I have the ProGlide Power (the head vibrates), so I dry it off on a towel blotting the head with it turned on.

Seems a bit excessive, but I have a 40 gallon one, so I will just use that one twice as long.
