Our work schedules are awful, but that's what you get with shitty demand for labor. Labor has to give more to keep the job. Really though it's laziness. Put something in the slow cooker and braise it all day. Dinner is served when you get home. Do beans, chicken, beef roast. Some fresh berries, pecans, blue cheese, and some leafy greens and there's a five minute salad to go with it. Splurge for some quality balsamic (check out Red Stick Spice Co) and you have a tadty, filling, healthy dinner with leftovers for lunch the next day.

I kind of cringe a little bit, but I sometimes eat shite myself. I just know that at some point I'm going to bust arse in the gym to work it off.
I don't eat fast food very often and if I do it is typically something like Chick-fil-a or Arby's. Can't tell you the last time I've eaten at McDonald's or BK.

I actually ate at a wendys for the first time in forever the other day. They tried to class up the joint and put some kind of lounge in the corner and they were extremely nice and cheerful

Yeah, Wendy's isn't too bad these days. Their chicken sandwiches aren't too bad. I've eaten their a couple times not that long ago, but I was also traveling.

very few people have any awareness anymore in any situation. It drives me fricking crazy how unaware everyone is now days.
Most people nowadays in public places are like the polar opposite of Jason Bourne -- you could be like standing right beside them and they wouldn't know you're there until they either look up or you cough.
It's ridiculous.
