My dog is my life.
I live by myself and work out of town. No fricks given.

Yes, all of them. I refrain from calling myself/my wife "dad/mom" in public, but definitely at home. When I get home from work every, I open the door and say "Daddy's home" and my dogs come running, my lab jumps and wraps his front paws around my waist to give me a hug (well, he used to. The Arthritis won't really allow him to do it anymore) while the beagle hops up and down in circles on his back legs.

I avoid contact with dogs unless it is unavoidable. Not my favorite species, mainly because their human owners insist they are human.
Most dogs are better then a lot of humans.

It behaves just like a toddler (cries when it's scared or angry, acts out for attention, steals stuff, eats stuff, makes messes, talks back, acts ashamed when it's done something wrong, loves to cuddle, ect), so I treat it like one.

No. Instead, it talks to me like I'm a dog.

Same here. I feel foolish at times doing it, but damn, my chocolate lab is the most constant, loyal thing in my life. She'd run across a mile of broken glass if I were calling her from the other side. I'd feel like an a-hole to not treat her as a semi-equal.
