Because after hanging around them for a short while your clothing reeks of cigarette smoke? That's the kicker for me. I never bought into the second-hand smoke scare tactic, I just hated the stench.

Yes, I know lots of people I grew up with that could take or leave cigs with no real addiction issues. But others once they started it was over and it wasn't anything to do with being weak minded, it was the addiction taking over.

My opinion is that ingesting smoke into your lungs is not healthy/smart.

No problem with it, unless it affects others.
I do have a problem with people who smoke around their kids-not that it should be legislated, but I think they are a POS for doing it.

I smoke a cigar every week or so.
