Do you smoke? If not what is your opinion of those that do?

Personally, I do not, I find the smell kinda sickening at this point. Mainly because I am not around it anymore. One of my parents still smokes and every time I visit I have to change clothes because I can smell it on me.
There are certain establishments I avoid because of the heavy smoke smell from those that do smoke as well.

I know I shouldn't make assumptions, but I always think someone who smokes is less intelligent

I don't but strangely I love the smell of it.
It's their choice. Why do I care?

I look down on people that do drugs

I agree but I also think smokers' health insurance should be much higher than for nonsmokers. I think all recreational drugs should be legal, too, but insurance for users should be astronomical or not available at all.

I believe in your freedom to smoke and my freedom to assume it's trashy

I could give a shite less if people smoke or not, but I don't care to be around people that are smoking.

Our state policies through Anthem are almost doubled as a smoker.
I'm not a fan (of smoking). My parents did for years and still do, but they're grown adults and that's their personal choice. I don't care to restrict their access but it's not something I'll ever do myself.

I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't mind it if others do and most of my friends do. It doesn't smell great but as long as they don't blow smoke in my face i don't have problems.

I do not.
I Aso don't care if others do, if they want to inhale poison regularly, by all means.

That's about right, IMO. Smoking has been proven to be unhealthy, even deadly.

I'll have an occasional cigar or pipe, but I don't smoke cigarettes.
I immediately knock at least 3 points off any woman I see smoking a cigarette. That 7 automatically becomes a 4. Huge turn off for me.

I didn't think we were talking about cigars. I'll smoke cigars on occasion.

I quit, and still miss it. I love the smell of it, and I can always tell when somebody has had a cigarette when no one else can smell it.
I figure eventually everyone will quit. Society has attached such a negative stigma because politicians said so. People were dying from it for centuries, but NOW it's suddenly a burden on our healthcare industry? Meh.

It is. It also triples the premium of life insurance.

I'm a smoker, but have a very high iq. Intelligence has nothing to do with it. It's being a dumbass when you're young, so it's more bad decision making skills at a vulnerable age.
I've tried quitting a few times, and I'm still smoking. I've tried him, e cigs, and patches. Stimulants grab a hold of me hard. You should see my daily coffee habit. If it weren't for my sister's addictions, I may gotten hooked on blow (luckily anytime I tried it, I was so paranoid about addiction, I hated myself immediately). I even broke off friendships because people using it casually.
I'm at the that point, I'm ready to try pills. I'll probably start with wellibutrin. If that doesn't work, I'll have to try chantex. But that one had terrible side effects, that scare the hell out of me. But I'm 33, and I know the side effects of tobacco. So I'm almost ready to risk the severe psychological side effects associated with chantex. Because otherwise, I'll be dead.
I am glad to see dramatically fewer people smoking that are younger than me. I'm not sure what they changed educationally. But people 2-3 years younger than me smoke at a much lower rate. I hope that trend stays consistent.
