I don't know any males with a healthy libido that would want to go 9 months without sex. Furthermore, if she wants to and you don't, those pregnancy hormones are going to kick in and she's going to think you don't find her attractive anymore, thus leading her to suspect you could resort to cheating. I've got 4 kids. That is roughly 40 months of pregnancy and I can assure you my wife put out 10x's more when she was pregnant. Not only that but it was probably the best sex ever. Hell, I was all about it when she was pregnant. I'd go downtown like I always do and even joke around by talking into her vagina as if I was having a conversation with our future kid.
