Semo, this is true. Most every father (my father included) teaches their children not to fight, but if a bully starts a fight, strike back and finish it regardless of the consequences.

Punishment is temporary. Teaching a bully a valuable lesson lasts forever and gives your child real life confidence.

I agree!!! I just wouldn't want my child to think being the aggressor was OK - you wouldn't want the fighting to become a habit.

Jeez man you survived the 2 hottest dryest shittyest summers I've ever known. I was in OKC during the last 2 summers working outside with my pool business. F that noise. 110 degrees for a month straight is too much.

First, don't revise scientific research data to favor a specific point of view. That compromises the integrity of the real data.

Second, detonate an EMP 30 miles above the center of China. This would knock China back to the stone age. In an instant their electrical grid would fry, including most of their vehicles which are controlled by computers.

A billion less people driving cars in a society that doesn't regulate car emissions is a good thing.

Win, win!

This might be my favorite answer thus far.

And this without a doubt is best advice!

Tell me about it--I was working in a warehouse with shitty A/C sweating like pig I love the heat, but not wearing camo and lifting heavy merchandise in it.

Question: Should I quit my job if I'm not happy with it, but I'm very dependent upon the money I'm currently making. I could do so but would have to scrape by doing something else while waiting for another opportunity to come along and given what the job market is like ... who knows how long that could take. Should I instead stick it out and continue to look for another job position somewhere else while currently working where I'm at now? Or even this should I quit go back to school do further education in an attempt to acquire a better job. What do you think I should do?

In my opinion you should never quit a job without another job waiting for you. It may suck to remain at your current job, but you need to stick it out until you get a new job offer.

Also, I suggest that you look for jobs that offer higher education financial assistance. Even if you make a little less, you'll gain it all back when you earn a degree. Just think how much you'll spend out of pocket for higher education if you don't receive assistance.

Don't quit your current job if you don't have another job lined up.

Well then do it! Just make certain you don't quit your current job until after you've accepted another job.

This isn't the time to risk economic ruin.

Dear Killz,

I seemed to have upset a certain LLOTOTB and she has ceased to communicate with me in a friendly manner. I have searched this thread What do I do? for answers with no luck. Please look favorably on me and offer your wisdom regarding how to restore an amiable interaction with this lovely lady.

Kind Regards and TIA

Dear Mizzou,
How can I tell if Fluoride in tap water stunted my pineal gland as a child?

Hardy Har,

It's been common knowledge since the 1940s that the fluoridation of our public water has one purpose - population control.

Big Brother is attempting to sterilize a large segment of society. They're succeeding.

Have you tested "your boys" to see if they're swimmers or zombies? If not, I'd get it done soon.

Killz, I had a leaky icemaker in my refrigerator, and it's left some white water stains on my brown ceramic tile floor. The tile has a rough surface, not slick, so the tile isn't completely sealed. I've tried various things to remove the stains, but nothing has worked. I'm now preparing to sell my place, and really need to get this cleaned up. It's not dirty, just unsightly. I've tried CLR, baking soda and vinegar, and regular kitchen cleaners - none have worked. I think the stains are down into the tile.

What would work on rough tile to get the stains out?
