No. What I am referring to is the level of anger and backlash from folks like in this thread. Any allegation of racism still existing seems to infuriate a certain segment of the population. Can't help but notice that some folks get literally angry whenever a demographic claims they have been discriminated against.

The word "racist" has been rendered useless by events such as this fabricated Mizzou situation.

Except the claims are being demonstrated to be false. So, you've got a bit of a roadblock in your rush to get to the moral high ground.

I think the anger is when someone hears that a whole group, that includes that person, is to blame for all the ills which befall another group.

It takes some really fuzzy math to make such relationships plausible so people bristle.

Not when it's actual racism. Didn't see anyone rushing to defend that little shithead in Charleston.

Exactly. There's a huge difference in what's happening (or isn't happening) at Mizzou and real issues.

certainly that's a leg of the stool, another part or leg is the MU Administration being complicit in the falsehoods being propagated and doing little or nothing to actually uncover the truth, or seemingly even caring that the truth about this even be uncovered.

This is actually a moment of truth for the MU Office, I'm sure they would both like to support the false SJW narratives in this story AND continue being supported by the alumni, except a large number of the alumni aren't interested in their progressive political nonsense and won't go along with supporting the University if they continue with this fake narrative about how "systemically racist" the University is.

I think under the current political climate hey were afraid to do so because it would cause even more backlash.

And, let's be honest, they are ideologically committed to the idealogy expressed by the protestors.

Of course. They've helped foster the environment. Most universities are probably complicit in this

Sadly, not true:
LINK

Even with that shooting, many tried to say it wasn't race related.
It's actually pretty funny how predictable its all become...

Credibility from the conservative side on these issues is just as bad as the liberal side if not worse...

like I said it's moment of truth time for MU, if they want to throw away and alienate a large segment of alumni support, they are certainly going about it the right way.

Living here you learn to read between the lines and I have to ask, Why so angry?

And that's where the problem lies. You give them the attention they seek to a problem that doesn't even exist. Stop that! Quit giving them fuel.

This faux systematic oppression is a myth. Yes racism is still alive, but to say that there is no way to succeed in this country due to racism is ludicrous. Anyone in this country can become successful, even if Bubba and Cletus in north Mississippi hates you for being black. That's what the president tried to tell them before they tricked the jocks in the football team into this nonsense. Now, a man is out of a job and they all look like fools. If anything, this is the type of civil unrest that real racists like the KKK want. Ya'll been played for fools and now the entire nation knows it. Racism will never truly go away, and people should accept everyone, even the racists, for who they are just like they expect for everyone to accept Caitlyn Jenner as a woman (but that's for a whole other argument in which I will not get into)

Yeah, but you guys allowed Bear Bryant's idiot son to shut down the UAB football program over petty personal vendettas. That's quite the scarlet letter you get to wear. Why haven't people in Bama slapped that idiot for being such a doosh? That event was devastating to those kids.

(and you bribe the SEC office and the refs)

Maybe the shooting was as big of a hoax as this event at Mizzou?

Clay Travis Reports Fact Via Twitter- CONFIRMED
I think there is a lot of history in this country which completely flies in the face of what you are suggesting.

Folks don't need to "go to Africa, Central America, or the Middle East" to experience these things. There is ample evidence from the last few years alone that we do not live in a post-racial society. I find it interesting how any suggestion to the contrary gets a lot of southern white guys frothing at the mouth...

You've never been to any of those parts of the world, have you? Take a visit and then come back and try to have an intelligent discussion with those of use who have lived there.

Travis's latest article takes down the whole rotten episode, exposing the SGA president as a liar and the whole episode as a sham.

frick Mizzou for making me like Clay Travis.

What, where, who? I recall nobody saying it wasn't race related.
