I've heard Third Day and Switchfoot on ESPN before as well.
I can confirm Third Day. You heard Mineo, Sorant? (May not be your style)

I listen to all the 116 guys, Flame, etc. I'll play Lecrae or Trip for my friends and they love it...until I tell them it's "Christian" afterwards. A lot like what's going on here

Give me Relient K or nothing.

Pitiful by Blindside
Studying Politics by Emery
Pretty much anything by Emery
If you like Thousand Foot Krutch, check out FM Static. Basically the same band, but a different type of music.
Spoken's self titled cd and "Last Change to Breathe" are pretty good.
Underoath's "They're Only Chasing Safety" cd is good.
Both Fixed Til Tuesday and I Am Terrified would be on my list (they are practically the same band, one or two different members).

I liked a bit of Relient K, but it seemed like they kept trying to be the christian version of Blink 182 instead of just being their own band.

Early Relient K? Possibly.
The past few years? Nope.

Are they still around? I probably haven't heard any of their new stuff since 2007ish.
"Relient K", "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right... But Three Do", "The Anatomy of Tounge and Cheek", and "Mmhmm" definitely were. "Five Score and Seven Years Ago" was definitely different and fresh (for Relient K standards).

Actually, after going back and listening, "Mmhmm" was the turning point. It sounds like they were in the transitional phase. A little bit of the old, a little bit of the new.

Since this has devolved from the hype music to Christian music in general, let me put in a plug for W.L.A.K. (Hip hop)
The four artists that comprise it are Dre Murray, Swoope, Alex Faith, and Christon Gray.
Gray sings like John Legend and is more with the group for hooks than rapping, although he can do that fairly well.
His new album drops on the 25th

I guess I have a different definition of hype music. When I want to get hyped, I turn on some hard rock with maybe some screaming.

I get that man. I listen to some Skillet and Red. Used to listen to Skillet nonstop. I may should have clarified in the title, too late now.
FWIW, I almost put some skillet in it.

I feel like you're trolling.
Even Jesus wouldn't be trying to sell us on this shite.

Demon Hunter, Blindside, Norma Jean, Saving Grace, Becoming the Archetype, Haste The Day, August Burns Red are amazing bands. All but BtA and SG have had #1 albums on the metal charts. In fact at one point 7 of the top 10 albums on the metal charts were Christian. Demon Hunter has never made a bad song after 7 albums, their consistency is mind blowing.
Lecrae and Tedashii have really led Christian rap into a new era. Excellent music is coming from them and it's really changing the game.
