Ya don't worry about him, he's one of those people who constantly tries to tell everyone how smart they are to reinforce their belief in that fact. It is usually much easier to just ignore them

Oh. I'm not worried about him at all.

Him calling me an idiot is literally the equivalent of a Japanese man telling me I have a little dick.

Do you have any interest in actually fostering debate or is your main goal to insult those with differing opinions? If it is debate you seek, then perhaps providing facts and demonstrations for the dissenters of your opinion would be more constructive than offering the rather obtuse "you're too stupid to respond to" retort.

He's perfectly aware of what he's doing.

So I gather this is the norm for him? I see. I'll move along then; thanks for the heads up.

How was that soggy cracker you were just fed?

I provide facts in these threads and there is plenty debate and genuine discussion going on.

So far this is only 2.5 pages, pretty easy to see for yourself.

The few people at the tail end this thread who took advantage of my absence have had their worldview flipped by my presence on this board, and they're not taking too kindly to it.

Spare the response, I'm sure you're similar to them, otherwise you would have been able to see the responses instead of just seeing the ones you wanted to see.

He doesn't have the time to explain and even if he did you're to dumb to understand.

Yet again you antagonize a poster without offering anything insightful. If you cared at all about what anyone had to say, me in this instance, you would come to know that I agree with the premise of the OP even if it is somewhat lacking in reality. I'm more on your side of the arguement than others (based on reading the responses I was accused of not reading), but you would rather insult than engage. Have a good day, son.

Your post was not engaging, you were passive aggressively antagonizing. You didn't choose to respond to a point in the OP or any points made throughout the thread.

Therefore me response was on that same level.

*Also, nice use of the semicolon; brotherdude.

If you'd like to ask anything, I know you mentioned something about the message in the OP lacking in reality, maybe you could expand on that and I'd be glad to try provide an answer.

Hipgnosis, you're trying hard and all, but acting like an intellectual is not the same as being Genro or Cardboardboxer

Large corporations want entry barriers to be tough, and they want regulations that only they can comply with to keep new comers out of their market space.

The cost of this fact is going to be enormous for the average American. Manufacturing isn't coming back to a point to support the middle class. The small business is the only vehicle capable of alleviating that problem.

Then you look at the regulations, licenses, and fees to start any business. Killing the engine of future growth and prosperity to protect the rents of the big boys and to line the pockets of the government doing their bidding.

The "full story" you linked is just to his comments which are 1.brief and 2.only made for PR purposes. He paints a picture using such massive broad strokes that no real and complete discussion or study can occur.

This isn't the rant. We have fun over here and engage in discussion, but we try to discourage trolling others as it destroys our sense of OT community.

What did you expect? It's a short article sharing his brief, but potent comments.

He makes a valid point -- we, as good citizens, want to point our finger at the protesters (and rightfully so, they shouldn't be behaving the way they are) but the truth is there's a lot more to the picture, as he delves into.

The last 4 decades, or so, the elite class has shipped out American jobs for their own benefit, with no concern for the long lasting rippling effects it has on the country. On top of losing jobs, the oppression of the police state has ratcheted up -- creating a very bad environment.

What do you want the guy to do? Wrote a novel about it? He's making a potent, sharp jab at the root of the problem.

I disagree with what you think he is trying to accomplish with his comments. He calls out the political elite (and is right) and you misrepresent this in your OP. You should correct it. Overall I find most of your statements in the thread to be generally correct but most are analyzing your opinion not the author of the original comments.
