How bad would it suck to be amongst those cars stuck. They are screwed for a longggg time.

eta - They need to move the truck about 20 feet closer. It's not even reaching the flames.

Live feed says it has collapsed.

Atlanta will be a bigger nightmare for the 2 years it will take them to replace it.

I used to travel I-85 into Atlanta every work day. It was horrible then. Can't imagine how folks are going to get to work now. Carmageddon indeed!

They're saying spring break will make it worse due to increase traffic of people traveling through.

Also some volleyball tournament which will see an additional 30k per day on the roads through Sunday.

Do people in Atlanta still look down their nose at MARTA? I lived in Atlanta in the late 90's and took MARTA all the time, even the buses. People looked at me like I was crazy. Blew my mind people had that attitude. I'd kill to have that in Birmingham.
