Many gay people do better. They adopt instead of creating more of an overpopulation.

Word. Everyone has a different line when it comes to deviant or perverse sexual behavior. I just always cringe at the comparisons of homosexuality and beastiality or pedophilia.

Ijust find it to be absolutely absurd that my two gay friends who have been together, in a monogamous relationship, since high school and are now in their 30's can't get married. I, only being with my SO for five years, can any time that I would want to. Being straight doesn't make me more important than them.

Some dumb fricks who meet in Vegas can get married the same night, but many loving same sex couples can't. There's a huge problem with that logic.

I don't see why you find that to be funny.

Reporducing isn't creating an overpopulation.. Having 8 kids that you and I support with tax money is, but not all reproduction. You just made a pretty dumb blanket statement is all..

Answer this for me.

Why is it that people can't disagree with a lifestyle, but just be tolerant of it?

I guess. There are always going to be welfare queens popping out babies every year though.

Oh, did I mention that they can get married if the want as well? But two gay men or women, with successful careers, fully capable of caring for children and in a very stable relationship can't.

Dont think you'll find anyone who disagrees with this. But do you really think if same sex marriage were legal in Vegas that two dumb gay fricks who meet in Vegas won't get married the same night?

In the church's eyes marriage has already lost so much reverence from heterosexuals (divorces/annulments) that they are trying to preserve it as much as possible.

Wanting marriage to be only between a man and a woman isn't being tolerant of gay people.

I'm 100% okay with people disagreeing with homosexuality from a religious and/or personal moral standpoint, but to try and deny a human being benefits and rights based on who they love is despicable. Churches shouldn't be forced into performing same-sex marriages (though many are already willing to do so), but our government should recognize their union.

Of course it would happen. The point is that if those people can get married, then two gay people in along term relationship should be able to do the same.

We don't live in a theocracy. The church doesn't get to make the laws.

Wanting to impose into someone's religious beliefs is the exact opposite of tolerance.

I couldn't care less either way I guess. It doesn't bother me that they can in some states, just like it doesn't bother me that they cannot in Mississippi..

Gay marriage is just hard to get behind.

There would be no marriage without the church. So yes, they should get to make the laws on something they created.

You choose your sky daddy. You don't choose to be gay. Religion isn't a valid excuse for intolerance. Fourty years ago, zealots were using the same shite to prevent interracial marriage.

Marriage existed long before the church.

If that was the case, no one would be allowed to get married except for straight Christians.
