He's right and it's nice to hear someone admit it.

It's been pretty obvious for a while that the overarching gay agenda is no longer equal rights. They want everyone to accept them, approve of them, and like them - anything less is homophobia.

People on this board will probably use this one case to claim that gay persecution doesn't exist.

I think there's some validity to the comments. People are weirded out by the freakshow gay pride gays. The lesbians gardening across the way or the gay dude sports fan at the gym are non-threatening.

You see a lot of the same type of dysfunction among sports fans. People with no sense of self will become these annoying superfans, because that is their only identity. They will post like 23,000 times on a message board because being a sports fan is all they have going for them.

Some gays latch onto the identity because its all they have.

Is this an example of the pussification of America? The freakshow gays should tone it down because it makes people uncomfortable?

People get offended by anything these days.

With any social movement, the loud and obnoxious members get most of the attention. It's a necessary annoyance and it obviously works.

The people that feel uncomfortable are just scared of the gay urges that it causes them. Homophobia at its finest

It's funny that people say gays should tone it down. Same thing happened during the civil rights movement.

Is there a problem with having gay people that graduate from our school? I don't think Brandon (Humans of NY guy) is gay, but we definitely had a lot more than I thought we would when I first came to UGA. I think it brings more diversity to the school which is nice.

What exactly does a gay person do to earn respect for all gay people?

Yeah, because gays are banned from straight bars, restaurants, water fountains, schools, etc. They have to make bit showy parades and get in anyone's face who doesn't like it because if they don't, we'll go back to regular electroshock therapy.

Hyperbole much?
