Authorities said Friday a late-night phone led them to the discovery of eight unattended children at a Texas home, including a 2-year-old boy chained in the backyard and a 3-year-old girl tied to a door with a dog leash.

An awful situation, but the video interview of the woman who called the cops gives you some faith in humanity. LINK

The system is such that we all paid taxes so that could happen. Let that sink in.

Christ.. Those parents should have just been dragged behind a police cruiser, down a gravel road, on the way to the morgue.

ETA: I'm sure her excuse is going to be: "I couldn't afford daycare". Taxpayers probably subsidized this chain of events, the system encouraged this level of low-income breeding, and now taxpayers will pay even more to take care of the kids + prosecute the mother. This system is insanity.

We now live in a world devoid of personal responsibility. It's a shame, but that's where we are.

The failure of the system is she wasn't fixed at least 7 children ago

I'm a big fan of sterilization and eugenics programs that end the breeding of those that depend on welfare to raise children they already have.

Incentivizing careless reproduction does nothing but create generations of worthless citizens.
