Know any Feds who just moved to the Memphis area from Louisiana? My next door neighbors just sold their house to a couple from Louisiana, and they said the husband was in federal law enforcement but I didn't get the agency. Hopefully, the dude is cool with a one hitter in the backyard

Obviously this is pretty complicated shite and I can't blame the cops for being out for blood, but some of the quotes are leading me to believe not all of the people killed were cartel members. The fact that ~1/4 of the people there couldn't have even had a gun if they wanted one, and sleeping bags being found on the patio, leads me to believe some there were just working on the ranch. Even if the cartel was paying them, getting executed for taking the wrong field job is pretty fricked up.

I mean, I understand the sentiment that you shouldn't be killed for that -- but everyone here knows who's bad and who is not. Even here in Mexico City, you know which houses are for, uh, let's just say less than savory characters.

Michoacan is a really, really bad area in Mexico. Which is saying something. Working for a cartel even as a farmer is perilous.

If it's not the cops, it could be a rival cartel, they should just be glad that they were shot and not begging for their lives on Youtube right now, waiting to get chopped up by axes with their corpses strewn all over the place.
