For example, we had a middle schooler at the school I previously worked with that absolutely lost his shite one day. Ended up having to call the police to detain him because he was so out of control. Come to find out the pot he had bought off a "friend" was laced with PCP.

That happened significantly more often before high quality kind bud became available nationwide. It was the cheap Mexican schwag bud that was laced. Nobody ever laced a bag of Sour Diesel.

I started off buying reggie and mid, like any respectable 9th grader. Never got anything other than shitty, 'make-you-stupid' practical grass clippings. This was the early-mid-2000's, though, so maybe things had changed by then.

Laced, not cut (made a mistake in my OP you responded to).

Why are you getting so defensive over someone suggesting that it's not as cut and dry as pot is good for everyone?

It makes absolutely no economical sense for a drug dealer to lace the weed they sell.

That customer will never come back plus you have the added cost of whatever you laced it with. Belle's example-had to be more to the story IMO or someone just decided to frick with those kids. But at the end of the day, weed being laced is not a real issue. Because it's pointless for someone selling it to do.

Well, to be fair, if something is indeed laced, it is an indictment on the seller, not the original product.

It should also be noted that legalization would practically eliminate such a problem, although I am extremely dubious that it is common.

"hey, homie, this stuff smells great like always, but, what's with the white powder and syringes sticking out of the nugs?"

Nope, good guess though. It was the last viable year of Crawfish Boil. Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco, Futurebirds.

Probably kind of dumb to try to tailgate that, but the ATF guys told me the only reason they picked me up instead of pouring it out was because their superiors wanted them to try and get informants for moon shine stills (disclaimer; I didn't narc)

Agreed. If you go back to when I brought it up (instead of where Stacked starting losing his shite), I was pointing out that some of the claims of physiological addiction to weed could be due to other substances that have been mixed in (knowingly or not).

It's been a growing issue we've had here with our younger middle/HS aged kids. They can't afford good shite so they end up going to someone who is dealing dirt weed laced with something like PCP or other substances.

ETA: Also the kids I was working with were dirt arse poor kids that would smoke just about anything someone handed to them if they could afford it.

Dude, nobody is going to waste money putting expensive drugs onto something cheap like pot

I've seen weed laced with cocaine, but theyre going to tell you it's on there so they can sell it for more.

What your saying makes zero practical sense. Some have already said why. The seller won't get a return customer and he's out extra money for the drugs he "laced the weed" ( ) with. How would he stay in business doing this? It's like if Walmart decided to make a couple batches of Sam's choice soda with 30% booze in it and sell it unsuspectingly. Why would they do that?

You must teach some really stupid kids if it is ever more than a one-time problem.

At that age, we were getting Jamaican schwag from one if those taco bell cashiers that started getting big. It wasn't until 10th grass that the Canadian beasters arrived, and looking back, those nuggets weren't very strong. I've heard stories of pcp laced bud. But I've never came across it out knew anyone that got some. And it wasn't due to lack of experience or being in a town without many drugs. By that time, cartels were shipping more coke into Orlando/Tampa than Miami.

I always assumed it was an urban legend. Or something that happened with a particularly shitty batch that wouldn't sell.

Only thing I've seen added to weed, was a douchebag with blueberry spray to sell his weak nuggets as Blueberry.

It's not something that is going to be a problem moving forward IMO. I equate that to parents freaking out over poisonous Halloween candy. It probably happened somewhere at some point and then everyone flipped out. It's not some nor will it be an epidemic.

I didn't even read the article. I don't doubt it though. Could be placebo effect. I love perusing music forums and Spotify playlists and fricking around with my keyboard after a few puffs though.

You repeat 2 of the myths cited in my link:

that it is an addictive substance

and that it leads to harder drugs.

Not teaching but it was one of the bottom 10 schools in the state. I never said they were smart.

I did see some fricked up things though. We had a kid who we caught dealing at school whose Mom admitted that he was dealing for his step-dad since a non-violent juvenile record will be expunged.

As a musician. I kind of agree. It relaxes you send allows your creative side to come out.

Now psychedelics, those will make you creative.
