Should be a good one. Hope to see a good amount of Missouri fans there.

I wish I could makeit. I think it would bea really fun road trip game. Unfortunately, youth athletics have me watching all college football on TV (often recorded) for the next few years.

Welcome mountaineerfan!

So how do you see the match up? And yes, as a fan of your own school, I would expect you to predict a win for WVU. Beyond that, what do ya expect?

For one, I don't believe these are real WV posters. More than likely alters. Regardless, I'll play along and pretend these people are real.

Mountaineerfan, do WV people really assault fans of opposing teams when WV is beaten in Morgantown? LSU fans claim y'all do.

Second, is West Virginia "southern"...

Just because they are "backward" hillbilly types that burn furniture and talk oddly, these things don't make them southern. That would be an insult to the backward arse southerners that you are mistaking them for.

Welcome to the Mizzou board my friend. I'm looking forward to our game and hope it's a good one with no major injuries.

And don't listen to mizzoukills. We don't even like him.

I see this as an ugly game, with a final score of 17-13 or something like that, with either team having an equal shot to win.

I would say that we have the edge being at home, but i have little faith in our coach and QB. Skyler Howard sucks.

How's your running game then?

Strength of our team is definitely our defense.

Also, how big of an impact have your recent losses been? Did you have depth at those positions? Seems like I recall y'all losing your top tackler, an OL and maybe 1 or 2 other starters.

It's hard to say. Rushell Shell was a 5* recruit with offers from everyone in the country but has underwhelmed thus far. He's not bad, but nothing spectacular either. We do have a JUCO RB coming in and is expected to get some work. The OL should be good.

Losing Dravon Henry (safety) hurts. He was probably the best player on the defense and all Big 12 caliber player. His backups are both seniors with some experience, but there will be a drop off.

Overall the strength of this team is with the OL and WRs, but that may not matter if Skyler is sailing passes 5 yards over their heads.

I expect a 7-5 type season.

Don't listen to TT16. He has extreme little brother syndrome.

The only person you should listen to is me. Everyone likes and wants to be me. It's common knowledge. No debate.

I'm your "go to" guy.

Thanks for the input.

More than players, our biggest question marks come from a new staff. Sometimes I feel better about the change (OL) and sometimes it makes me nervous (DL).

Should be a good match up of strength versus strength and weakness versus weakness. Hopefully both sides come away healthy

I've heard about Mizzou's DL being good. One of our starting O-Lineman got a DUI and crashed his car last week, and word is they are announcing a suspension today.

This has not been a good offseason for us. Another highly recruited freshman LB that was going to get plenty of PT this year blew his knee out last week.

We've been fortunate in the offseason so far. Knock on wood. The only player I had hoped to see back is DR Brantley. He didn't play last year due to a horrendous car accident and is now off the team. We were pretty stout without him last year so we don't so much lose anything but we don't benefit from his addition. He probably would have been a 1st or 2nd rounder had he played last year.

In the DL we still have a likely 1st round DE Harris and a 1st round DT after next year in Beckner. Probably a few others who may get drafted but not that high, as of yet at least

MU offense must be able to move the ball

They have to keep drives going, and win field position.

WVU will have speed, and if u keep defense on field all day, they will expose the secondary, and open up big holes.

Time for Huepel to come in with a game plan to run the ball, and sprinkle in passes. Stretch the field on 1st down.
