Please don't act like none of these guys had talent. I'm not saying they were 25 wins worth of talent but these guys are better than 8 wins a season kind of talent.

J3, like it or not, is a solid player, asked to do things he can't do.

Clark is solid enough.

Teki was highly sought after and very talented.

Gant was Mr. Basketball in the State of Georgia.

I'm not saying they're all NCAA tourney worthy but I mean it when I say my mom could have coached these guys and won more than 8 games.

It's not about not making the tourney.

It's not about not winning 15 games.

The bar was set pretty damn low and KA couldn't even get there.

I wanted Ben Howland. Stop with this D-2 coach crap bc recruiting on that level is much harder

You spiked your egg nog. I haven't said anything about D2 coach. I said he recruits on a Missouri Valley level. That's a D1 conference last I looked. He's patterning his team on those kind of teams. Not like Big 10 teams and the like.

With who? Name the star players on the roster that KA inherited

It doesn't take "star" players to win more than 8 games. I would have been happy if they were just bad, but KA decided to go all historically bad on us.

I said that J3 and Wes Clark were the only ones here. Gant is the same mold as J3. Teki was a Kim Anderson guy. You are making my point but you don't see it

The program was left with nothing. I get it J3, Wes Clark and Gant are all LBJ at the next level. My bad. So KA can't win with 3 LBJ. Better fire him now

Name the star players Kim Anderson inherited from Quin Snyder.

Name the star players Quin Snyder inherited from Norm Stewart (there's a couple here, but before you get too excited about listing them, think it through).

The fact that you typed this out shows exactly how seriously your opinion should be taken with regards to basketball.

He has no fire. His team has no fire. They make mistakes high school teams don't. I hope Mack is thinking about this issue.

The problem is churning through coaches can set you back even worse than a bad coach. You almost always take a recruiting hit. We need someone that is going to stay and rebuild the program, and those coaches are not just falling off trees. But I hope we are looking

Here's part of Kim's problem:

quote:

Blake Toppmeyer ?@btoppmeyer 18h18 hours ago
Kim Anderson, discussing the small crowd tonight, called Dec. 23 "the worst possible day in the world to play."

When the reality is:
quote:

Blake Toppmeyer ?@btoppmeyer 18h18 hours ago
Dec. 23 hadn't hurt crowd in the past.
Tonight's attendance: 14,456
Avg. attendance of 4 previous Dec. 23 installments at Scottrade: 21,152

Stop making fricking excuses and own it. The crowd was small because your team sucks donkey dicks. Jesus, it's not that hard. Win and people will show up. Lose and they won't.

His attitude is 'like yah, ya know, whatever'

and that's how his team plays.

WTH? He has had a ton of chances. He is a terrible recruiter and coach. He is going whiff on Michael Porter when he is blocks from campus. He needs to go now.

JAG, I'm still waiting to hear what you feel KA has actually accomplished as a coach at Mizzou.

I saw that Wainwright is finally producing consistently at Baylor.
Jankovick is at Hawaii.
Biedshied & Jones are also
J3 & Teki will next year.

That's a lot of talent that has transferred out over the last 3 years.

Also Punter at Tennessee another 1 time Mizzou commit.

He inherited a roster that had some talent yet he ran some of those kids off. He is a native of the area so he already has had years of relationships with HS and AAU coaches in the area. He has had teo recruiting seasons. He has had two easy non con schedules and is in a poor BB league, the only P5 school in the state. etc, etc. I don't expect us to be on the level of Kansas but I do expect us to be on the leavel of Kansas State at least. We are terrible. The record would not bother me so much if I thought they were improving and KA was getting better play out of kids but he is not. Terrible hire and the longer he is here the deeper the problem and hole become.

Last year he had 32 chances to show he knew how to coach.

This year, he's had 11.

Of those 43 chances, he's demonstrated he doesn't have a clue at least 20 times. Another 10 times, he's shown he has a clue against an FCS level basketball school. I can't think of one game where I thought he outcoached the opponent in game plan, substituting and game prep. Not one.

If you have a game that you'd like to mention as a rebuttal, feel free.

First off Wainwright wasnt recruited by haith. Jankovick transferred during Haiths time. Biedshied had trouble with KA rules and is now playing at Jacksonville state after he failed at ND and MU. Punter was never a 100% committed to Mu once haith ddint get the contract extension. J3 left because he didnt fit in with the new guys. I have said numerous times that teki leaving was concerning.
