When you see a program not show any signs of progress after 2 years, and the fans are apathetic it's time to make a change. I supported KA when he was hired, not anymore. I don't even bother watching games on tv, except for maybe a few minutes. I just don't think he is the solution to this mess.

Probably this but it sure as hell isn't because of anything he's accomplished at Mizzou as a coach. Has everything to do with avoiding perceived coaching carousels.

I give 50-50 odds that Rhoades won't have to fire KA after this year...I wouldn't be surprised if he resigned if the year ends like most of us think it will.

You know this has been a rough and embarrassing 2 seasons for him (and his family, by proxy). The empty seats plus (he's not blind nor deaf) the rising call for his head in media and internet postings.

Don't know if he's the "Never say die, I'm no quitter" type, but once you get in your mid-60s it's easier to fold your cards when you don't see next year having several 4 and 5 star guys ready to go.

I dunno, just a hunch.

I am not sure how MR could retain KA at this point. The only way it might be justifiable is if this team goes on an extended winning streak. Which I just don't see happening.

Or the fact that he hasn't had a chance.

He's had tons of chances, maybe he just can't get it done at this level. Occums razor man, sometimes the correct explanation is the obvious one. You just don't seem to want to see it for what it is.

Ton of chances? You are delusional, he's had a season in a half to build a program. He had to start at the very beginning. Also it's Occam's razor and it means the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

Too lazy to look it up, but I heard his record against P5 schools is like 3-28. If true my friends, that obviously is atrocious and enough to get the axe.

You're right, I misspelled that. Still think KA is a shite coach though.

Then fire him and every coach after that who doesn't win 25 games by year 2.

Your reaction to others over reacting is to over react. Not a sole has suggested he has to win 25 games even in year 2.

Do you honestly think he's done anything well to date? If so, what? I'm not talking about what he may do in the future. I'm not talking about the hand you think he's been dealt. I'm talking about what he's done well to date.

No he didn't. Not even close in fact. A complete over exaggeration by those who refuse to critique his performance to date. It wasn't the best of situations but it was FAR from the very beginning.

Bc this what the Lynch Mob mentality that y'all have here at MU. Tim Fuller said himself when he left that they were running are borrowed time. At the risk of losing players and rebuilding the program, they took transfers and pushed off the rebuild. Bc of that and lack of performance Frank Haith was not gonna have his contract renewed going into a rebuilding mode. Frank also brought in players where trouble makers putting the program in a bad spot. So Haith left. Alden hires KA bc he knows that he is the guy needed to right the ship. His role may end up being that of what Herm Edwards had for the chiefs in his later years. Righted the ship. So KA comes in with no real talent outside of Wes Clark and a weak J3. Somehow he was able to keep Namon Wright and Jakeenan Gant. Also puts some other guys around him to help. He Lands a 4-Star guy but he leaves after the season which has been the biggest concern so far. J3 wanted out bc he didn't fit in with the team. So KA goes out and brings in his type of guys. Who are all freshman. You can see exactly what he is trying to do with this program in he recruits but they are all freshman. Jarrett Sutton said himself that he has seen KA at practice and it isn't KA coaching it's the fact the guys are young and are making freshman mental mistakes. These guys are supposed to be learning behind someone but can't bc Frank Haith left only Ryan Rosburg. That fact that most on here can't see this explains the problem.

I wouldn't expect to win 25 games in year 2, but I would expect to win 25 total games in years 1+2.

You have definitely gone all in on KA my friend. But you're wearing blinders. I think some that have hated KA from day 1 also wear blinders, but you definitely have them on as well.

I have said it from day 1 and it truly looks like it's holding true. I have said from day 1 that KA's type of guys and the level he recruits at, what he'd like to do is make Mizzou a Missouri Valley type of team. Pattern it after Mo State, SIU Carbondale, Bradley, Evansville and so forth. If you believe that's a success then that's fine. Personally, I think Mizzou as a program is capable of a lot more.

I wanted Ben Howland. Stop with this D-2 coach crap bc recruiting on that level is much harder

I hate to break it to you but in years 1+2 we won't even get 20 wins.
