I don't know about Sampson, but the first name that came to my mind was Howland, though I'm not sure I'd want to go there. Regardless, let's hope KA does make it here because it is the quickest way to end the misery that currently is Mizzou hoops.

Both would be off the radar under Alden. With a new AD though plus Bow Tie, we can't assume anything.

It's going to be interesting to see what he does with TJ and the baseball team. TJ's contract is up. TJ has sucked in recent years but has gotten off to a good start this year. TJ has a probably slightly above average history over his entire time at Mizzou. Mizzou has some options outside of the current staff that the timing could be right for right now.
