I wouldn't dispute that. I'd take Gurley over just about any RB in the nation. My only point was he was trying to make it sound like Gurley has carried this team for 3 years now when he hasn't. He could have. But he didn't. UGA has been good because they are a solid program, not because of Gurley.

Don't even try to compare DGB to Gurley. He hasn't done sh$$ compared to what Gurley has done

so in Gurley's first decent performance he tied your schools record for TD's scored?

Is that what you're saying?

Thanks for proving you don't really know what the hell you're talking about.

your posts are solid...i dig the respect...

you are correct in saying that Gurley is the greatest thing that never was...i get it...he is possibly the best RB in all of college football but it wont be remembered that way due to injuries and now this...Chubb and the ROWK are ready though...i think the game will still be competetive...

I'm glad you get it. There's no disrespect meant behind it. Can't really speak from experience with the Tigers because we rarely get the greatest, but being a Cards fan, we have certainly seen a whole host of guys that you can see all the talent in the world but for one reason or another, usually injury, it just never gets on track. Gurley is easily the best back I've seen since Walker and Jackson. Those guys can just do things a human being shouldn't be able to do. It's just a true shame that we haven't been able to see it play out on the field. Who knows, maybe he'll get only 1 game and we'll still see it.

Looking forward to the game this weekend. Oh...and beat Auburn and shut the west up a bit would ya?

Agreed. With Gurley, I'd say UGA by 14+ points. Without him, it's about dead even. Just my opinion.

I also have a little league game at 10 a.m. At least I'll be off the couch and sober for that one.

Interesting stat on Mauk's supposed consistency issues.

Maty Mauk is completing 67.8 percent of his passes to Sasser, Hunt and White this year and 36.9 percent to the rest of MU's receiving corps.
