How you lost to Spurrier this year,

Because he'll take every game prior and work some against us. It's their Super Bowl even if USCe fans want to deny it.

If we can keep it close till the 4th quarter I think we'll win. If we're in the position that we're playing behind it might be a long day for us.

well first off, we gonna borrow (that's baryee to you) Frick Face Sourrier for the week to help us get some that play planin goin on.

Seriously, we have to play our best game of the year, by far, or we don't have a chance, and that still may not be enough.

I don't think Gurley is gonna hurt us anymore than anyone else.

If we don't get some better Oline play we aren't going to score enough points. I see a relatively low scoring game

I can't wait for this one for obvious reasons, but UGA is my 2nd fave (albeit a distant 2nd) team. Here's to a great game....(and no rain)

How good/bad is UGA's passing game? Ranked 110th currently in yards...Mizzou pass D ranked 77th. I don't think we're good enough to sell out against the run but if UGA is that bad we can definitely make some adjustments.

It's one of those things where we haven't really needed to pass and we just wear people down with the run. We throw the short-med quick game to keep people out of the box. Not much of a deep threat so far with Mitchell and JSW out but they're back for this game so who knows.

I think it's just now dawning on me how huge this game is in determining the east. With their schedules, UF and UK can play lights out and still have 2 losses yet to come. UT guaranteed has 1 more loss on their schedule. SC is already at 3 conference losses.

Beat UGA and give them 2 losses and we have the luxury of being able to lose 2 games out of @UF, Vandy, UK (bye) @AM @UT Arky and then still have the tie breaker with UGA. If UGA loses to Auburn, we only have to play .500 ball the rest of the way. Am I reading that right?

pretty much...

WG's post her pretty much sums it up from a UGA perspective...

I would only add to WG's post that in eliminating UF, in addition to having LSU, MU and UGA, they also have SC still. Otherwise, can't argue with it. I might be more of a homer by saying that if MU wins this weekend, I think that all but clinches it for MU. It would put UGA at 2 losses and MU still at 0 losses. We'd have to lose 3 of @UF, Vandy, UK, @A&M, @UT and Arky and then UGA would have to win out in order for UGA to win the division. While one or the other of those 2 things happening is a good possibility, both of them happening is obviously less likely.

MU and UGA both have Arky, UF and UK left, so looking forward, those are all a push(If one predicts a UGA win against them, one has to predict an MU win as well at this point). MU also has Vandy, @A&M and @UT. I don't see MU losing all 3 of those. The toughest remaining conference opponent is probably UGA playing Auburn.

Then again, MU could fall flat on it's face and finish 1-7. Who knows. Huge weekend though to say the least.

MU has to beat UGA and UF. UF's D is still legit. What they did to UT was more than impressive considering how UF's offense made it even harder for UF's D than UT's offense did.

UF isn't out of this thing.

I would basically agree. You would have to lose 3 games for us to have a chance at that point.

Which is a possibility, but makes that Auburn game loom large down the road.

yeah it sucks we've still got auburn. Even if we do win, we're still not in the clear because all it'd take is 1 more loss for us, presumably auburn. A win is big for us, but we'd still need missouri to drop one to give us a little breathing room.
