UF isn't out of this thing.
They're not out of it but they're schedule is killer, and I'm not just talking about playing MU. Between LSU, MU, UGA and SC, they have a couple of losses IMO. Yes, their defense is legit, but for as good as their defense is, their offense is just as putrid. Doesn't mean they lose to MU but they lose 2 out of their remaining.
And speaking of UF, what's this all about?

It's a lovely place. I'd suggest trying your best to make it down when missouri plays there in 12 months.

Athen's campus is one of the most similar to COMO that I have seen. If you're in COMO be sure to at least walk around our Quad, across to the Student Union and down to the stadium, you'll see why.

Steck better have spent the bye week figuring out how to contain Gurley or its gonna be a long day.
I just hope he doesn't have ONE PLAN and assume it's going to work, you know like some of our more memorable losses?

I went 2 years ago, I was impressed.

Only because you had such a great host.
Seriously, is Harris Florida's freshman qb that made such an impact against Tennessee?

the best! I don't get that kind of hospitality just anywhere.

yeah, although I didn't get to watch him. I think he only threw 2 passes. Apparently he's better than driskel though, but that could be like saying a dirt sandwich is better than a turd sandwich.

He didn't really do anything in the UT game. That is why it is so sad. The only thing that changed was UF players picked up their intensity. I'm guessing they do not like Driskel at all.

Good job on getting/holding on to Tavon & Nate Brown. They are gonna be a coupla good ones for you guys.
Quality kids with a lot of talent. Both will do good/great things at MU...

Two years ago when UGA came to Columbia, it was our first SEC game. It was preceded by Sheldon Richardson's famous Old Man Football quote.
I had a great time talking to and drinking with UGA fans before and during the game, and getting to know a little about our new conference mates. For the most part, a good group with knowledgeable, passionate fans. Only a couple of idiots. UGA fans were treated well and had universally good things to say about Mizzou and Columbia.
The game itself was exciting and very close until turnovers and penalties and a lousy 4th quarter made it look like a blowout. Still, having been a Mizzou fan since the 1970s, I knew this was the beginning of a terrific journey in the SEC.
As far as this year is concerned, I am cautiously optimistic. I know we can compete with every East Division team, but we should realistically be ranked anywhere from 10-25, no higher.
IMO if we contain Gurley, we win the game. If not, we lose.
Good luck. Hope to see you at the Zou one of these years.

By containing Gurley, if we can keep him under 175 and 2 TD's, I'll be happy and just limit what everyone else does.

Same here. I don't care how many yards he gets or what the time of possession is, I think if we keep him to no more than 2 TDs and don't allow big plays or turnovers, we have a great shot to win this one.

Seriously, we have to play our best game of the year, by far, or we don't have a chance, and that still may not be enough.
We will probably play with them for about 3 quarters but Gurley will keep pounding us and they will win by 17.

After the conclusion of the Mizzou/Georgia game, I predict a Georgia Board reaction much like the image below...

No verification on my part but I read....
Obviously as a UGA fan this is a little encouraging if true...

SDSU: 103
Toledo: 148
UCF: 33
Indy: 132
SC: 104
Yepp, but barely in 2 of them. Bad news...not as strong against the run as last year. Decent news...LB play has slowly gotten better each game.
