I think it would go a long ways with the players if the coaches showed some emotion during the game. Young guys especially who need confidence built up will benefit to see an outward display of positive emotion from the staff.

There's been a couple/few times where I thought it was a perfect opportunity for KA to get T'ed up to try to create some fire in the team.

But I still can't get past the belief that the talent on the court is still better than the record. So what would be the reason for that?

I'm in the minority that agrees with you when it comes to the talent "level" on this team. We're not KY but I think the talent is there but the lack of experience and learning a new system is what's holding us back from "completing" some games. I thought we played a very good 1st half against A&M last night but when A&M adjusted and got in our faces, we panicked and some guys tried to do too much; results were bad passes and clock violations.

I think I'm going to watch the 1st half of games only the rest of the season; we're winning those

Yeah, I made the mistake of only watching a bit of the 2nd half. Forgot they even played, but then got in the car and it was on the radio so I put it on when I got home. It only lasted about 5 or 10 minutes.

Don't make moves based on how you feel. The foundation of feelings are unstable.

When things don't work out for you in your present, that just means that God is rearranging your future.

I guess could be taken many ways. Hopefully the rearranging doesn't mean transferring.

Interesting tweets to say the least. The 2 tweets almost contradict each other so I'm just going to stay tuned.

I don't watch anymore other than the DVR at a speed of about 2 or 3. I refuse to get pissed off the entire game, so going into each game knowing we are going to lose and then watching at a fast clip is therapeutic.

See ya, bandwagon fans and drama queens. There will be better seats and lower prices for me at Mizzou Arena. Please DON'T come back when KA gets this team winning.

Oh, BTW, ever hear of a guy named Mike Krzyzewski? He was 11-14 in his first year at Army. He was 38-47 (13-29 ACC) his first three years at Duke.

Every hear of a guy named Gary Pinkel? He was 9-14 his first two years at Mizzou and 37-35 through 6 years here.

Sigh, this guy. I swear, people stick up for KA like they're his family. Just keep turning a blind eye to the problem, maybe that will help. KA has to land some decent talent at Center and PF if he wants to compete at all next year, and God forbid any of the freshman or sophmores leave. We have 1 scholarship left open, but I would be shocked if Bello is back next year, hopefully Rosburg can transfer somewhere he can be competitive too giving us 3 scholarships to spend on some decent players.

I don't think Rosburg is going anywhere. Wouldn't be shocked to see Bello leave though.

We need someone who can play with their back to the rim and someone who can shoot it night in and night out.

I think if you put meat on J3, he can play PF. He's got no outside game and only a left hand so going forward, it's going to be tough for him to play anyway but with his back to the bucket. That is unless he develops other parts to his game.

I agree on Rosburg, it's more wishful thinking on my part. That's the danger of taking low rated instate kids, when it becomes apparent they can't play at this level, no one wants to run them off because it's uncomfortable. Football seems to have no problem doing it, but basketball never has that I remember.

There are plenty of seats at Mizzou Arena with or without me.

We basically have a freshman coach with freshman players. There has been improvement, but they seem to regress. Either bad passing, bad dribbling bad shooting, missing layups, missing short 5 ft. jump shots or coming out of a halftime break flat or start the game raining 3 pointers that miss as the other team pulls out to a 10 point lead in the first 5 minutes. You can directly relate all of this to coaching.

I'm not really sold on the talent level of this team either. Good players use that talent to take over a game or put the team on their shoulders. a 22-2 drubbing and no one stepping up just tells me there is not as much talent here as some may think. Kentucky? That's talent winning games. Some of those are freshman also. I don't see that here.

Personally, I think there is talent. What I think is lacking is basketball IQ.

Since we're all SUPPOSED to be Mizzou, he IS family. Give the man a chance!

Nobody expected Rosburg to be a starter...just develop into a decent role player. He did progress when he was facing Oriahki everyday in practice, and even had a few moments last year, but he definitely regressed this year.

Our team lacks confidence. Plain and simple.

You don't need to be the most talented team to win.

I love Gregg Marshall and his style. Wichita St has one of the lowest recruiting classes every year. But they have confidence that they are the better TEAM every time they step on the court. We don't have that.

Also, I'll be taking donations for the "Bring Gregg Marshall to Mizzou Foundation"

I am giving him a chance, but you can evaluate at the same time. I will admit I like CFH, and even stuck up for him last year when everyone was reaming him for how the season ended. I guess this is no different, I'm just on the other side of the fence a little from where I was. I'm hoping we can at least beat LMA this weekend, we need something good to happen this season.

Not bashing you but sounds like you're a "jilted lover" with KA because of what both MA & FH did (or didn't do). I guess we can go back to QS too.

I think KA has the goods to rebuild our BB program but he pretty much had to 'burn it down' in order to build it properly. We all knew we could write off this year. Let's see how things are in the SEC tourney.

Patience is not a virtue of this board. You can't say year 3 is when we find out about KA and then complain about every loss. My takeaway from that A&M game is that the team had the talent to be ahead of a quality team on the road for a half. Young teams struggle on the road. It's not rocket science. I will agree that it is frustrating though. The main frustration is that they show glimpses. Also a reason for optimism in the future. I guess it's a glass half full/empty kinda thing. I thought Wes Clark had a pretty solid game as well. My biggest frustration has probably been J 3's play lately. Teki being out also has not helped at all. Namon has showed glimpses and I think if he sticks it out he can be a really good tiger.

Young teams also struggle to score on the road. Teams no longer get tons of easy baskets on us. That's coaching. Missing layups on offense is not coaching, it's youth and inexperience in hostile environments.
