Anyone make it to the parade today? I was there but I could barely see. Officials are estimating that 800,000 to 1,000,000 people attended
Attending that was better than Mardi Gras, better than being on Bourbon after LSU beat OU for the BCS title. waaaaay more packed than both those events together. When I was walking down Main I was telling my gf and friend this is waaaay more people than Mardi Gras. I was right.
We were at the intersection of Main St and pershing rd. On Main St.

Was hell but was an experience I would never forget. Didn't get to see the players But got some videos of the excitement. Can always say I was apart of the big crowd.
Sounds a lot like my experience. I was in the huge mob at the end between Union Station and Crown Center, so I was surrounded by several hundred thousand people. Luckily I'm fairly tall, so I was at least able to see the players' faces as they went by, but I was a good 50 yards back from the parade itself. I got a few pics and was able to see the ceremony at the end, although the speakers weren't very loud so it was hard to hear some of the softer spoken players.

We used Uber to get down close to WWI memorial and then popped out and walked. We followed my wife as she used her charm and a-hole nature to persuade people to let us by and because of this we ended up at a great spot. We also had a few beers in her purse along with some fireball to help us celebrate
After the rally we headed north to Power and Light and ended up at the flying saucer where we were fortunate enough to land a table after about 20 minutes. Everywhere we had stopped in before told us there was between a 2-4 hr wait. After the saucer we went into the open area of pnl and enjoyed a few beverages before we, well, took something home, also via Uber.
The item in question was a banner that we may or may not have obtained in a very clandestine operation. This banner is now in good hands.
