Uh no... There were literally only 3 of us calling out the football team while they protested, the rest were, "well they are on there on a daily basis, who are we to argue with what they experience?"

I think you are lumping a lot of people together. Some simply think others are over reacting. Others support their right to protest even if they don't support the reason for it and would have been just as okay with Mizzou pulling their scholarships.

A lot of us realized that if the staff/administration opposed the protestors and threatened to revoke scholarships, then we'd lose all credibility with 80% of potential recruits, and the program would never recover.
That is much different than actually supporting the protest.

The girls "protest" doesn't include missing games. It's not over a joke of a millionaire fraud pretending not to eat. It's backing their coach who the university may fire because he says the f word from time to time. These are not the same situations. Tell me you understand that.

MR has been put in some impossible situations in year 1 at MU. The fact that he's hasn't left is a testiment to his character. No AD or HC would have handled the protest any better. It was a no win situation but what they did was save it where they can still get recruits in the door and on the teams. He had to hire a new FB coach after GP stepped down in a time where MU was seen as toxic but regardless BO was the right guy for the job. He kept KA bc Kim has had a rough go and inherited some crap left from the previous coach. I talked to a former Assistant coach at Northwest Missouri State, who said if they would have fired KA after year 2, they would be sending a message to players and recruits that this program isnt gonna give coaches or players enough time to turn around the program. I understand why he kept TJ around, they haven't known each other that long and TJ has had success at MU in the past but unless his fortune changes, it's safe to say he's gone. They are just looking into the complaints about EE.

You don't even mention his biggest snafu...the bumbling of the South EZ project and his facilities plan.
Frankly, that's the most important thing on his plate and he's bumblefricked this beyond belief or repair.
