I think the classic Mizzou move would be Odom.

True son bullshite, continuing the program bullshite, "mizzou made" bullshite.

It would be the equivalent to the KA hire to me.

If you don't like updates from the paid mizzou site you can gladly not read this thread or pay for it yourself. Based on the 30 replies, seems like some people are though

But some folks are really talking Odom up. Makes me wonder.

What's to wonder? There's a lot to like.

He's young, intelligent, passionate and well liked. He took a defense that lost Shane Ray, Michael Sam and Harold Brantley and improved them - despite being on the field more and usually saddled with horse shite field position because of a terminal offense.

If Rhoades hires someone of a similar ilk with head coaching experience, great. If he ends up hiring some out of region, mid-major butt-arse, I'd rather MR roll the dice on a Mizzou guy who would keep the infrastructure of the player development together.

It was Markus Golden not Sam that was lost from last years D-line. Also lost Hoch & Vincent. Kul has done wonders this year with basically an entirely new DL. Although it did falter a bit after the TBJ injury.

Yes. Golden not Sam. There have been so many great ones their departures dates become foggy.

Then why aren't people advocating for Kul to take over. He's the real force behind Mizzou's defense. He has Nationally recognized skills, even other coaches credit the defensive line skills as the force behind the Mizzou success. I've never heard any coach talk about preparing for Odom's defense or even his defensive philosophy. However coaches consistently comment on Kuls work.
