Yeah, the only thing I remember him being wrong about is the big 10 thing. Which just reinforced to me how close that was to happening. Thank God it didn't and we landed in the SEC instead.

mubobby is as legit as it gets online. Nick had to come out and back him after the B1G debacle, which only goes to show you how many idiots post on Tigerboard.

That's not accurate either. As I said he has posted about commitments BEFORE they were reported elsewhere. Not "keep an eye out" or "this might happen" actual commitments.

Without question, TB is a cesspool, with far more self appointed experts. Mubobby isn't that at all. In fact, he barely post at all. Usually a solid piece of information and rarely engages in replies.

he's clearly a "recruiting assistant" assuming he's not the "coordinator", which explains why he breaks news about recruits who are about to announce. somebody who "hears things" and runs to report them on a web message board is pretty much a "snitch" though..

My personal belief is that his posts are calculated fro within the staff. I think it's their way of saying something without saying something on the record. Whether it's a recruit they can't discuss or a Mauk/DGB situation they can't discuss. He doesn't post often and it's usually on bigger issues

I'm not sure about that. He aired some very dirty laundry about the team and staff heading into and during the 2012 season.
