Those players can smoke all they want but if the NFL busts them, they still lose their jobs.

These leagues don't care if the players smoke weed.

The drug testing doesn't get them for that.

We're just beginning to learn about the healing benefits.

It's truly amazing, if you haven't been keeping up.

Folks like you shouldn't talk about it in such a way.

And furthermore -- people go from slamming beers and shots at 21 to drinking fine bourbon and wine or good beer responsibly as 'grown ups'.

You probably won't see this, and it doesn't matter, I just can't stand ignorance on the subject.

Meh. The weed and whether it has healing properties isn't even the point. It's the decision making (aka dumbassery) that is the issue. Regardless of personal views on weed, if he can't follow simple rules, because they are the rules, in this instance, will he be able to follow the rules or show good decision making in the future.

Yeah. Of course, how do you get pulled over with weed in your car the week of the NFL draft. Dumb. A total red flag.

My post was directed at the comment by the poster who said he 'grew up'.

I'm sort of as close to an activist without being an activist on the matter, so it bugged me.

I hear ya. I'm all for it's legalization as well. Always have been. Can't think of any potentially positive sides to alcohol but it's legal.

I thought it was intersting ESPN listed Green Beckham as a Missouri player, not Oklahoma.Kiper said he's likely a 2nd round pick.

The NFL lists players' official college team as the last one they played for not the last one they were enrolled at. I guess espn is just going along with that. I don't mind!

Congrats to Shane. Glad to see he didn't fall out of the 1st round. Had a pretty good interview on stage as well IMO.

Maybe we'll see Morse go today. NFL.com has him rated out as the 8th best OL on the board for whatever that's worth, but if that holds anywhere true to form, I'd suspect he'll go before the 3rd round is over.

DGB will probably go today for whatever that is worth.

Doubting but hoping Golden goes today, but really doubtful. Someone will have to have seen something in Golden that others didn't see.

I honestly still get goosebumps watching that video, even knowing what he did.

I woke up 3 hours before class just to watch the coverage and was so excited when he put on the Mizzou hat.....

Yeah, that was pretty awesome. And Arky fans for the most part were so sure they had him.

I remember pulling it up at the office and watching. It was pretty damn impressive. Damn shame how it turned out. He was that missing link that we were missing last year. If all of a sudden Sasser and Hunt are option 2 and 3 instead of 1 and 2 and Moore/Brown coming off the bench, it would have been a completely different look.

That's freakin' awesome for Morse!!!! Congrats to him. All his hard work paid off. $$$$ Kind of jealous of the Chiefs with Daniel, Maclin and Morse.
