We are a few days away. I see the following getting a phone call.
Ray 1st rd
Golden end of the 2nd rd
Morse 3rd or 4th
And I still think Marcus Murphy will be drafted in the 7th round by a team that has multiple picks in that round.
DGB late first round. We are in the SEC and we need to claim all the first rounders we can.
What say you??

Golden has fallen to 4th or later. Morse could go anywhere from 3rd-6th. Murph and Sasser UDFA that get picked up.

I don't get how the #1 pick in the draft can have a million off the field issues, not to mention a weak arm and debatable work ethic (fat belly) yet DGB takes a character hit in the draft.

Ray just got arrested for weed.
Someone is going to get a steal with Golden

So how far does Ray fall? I say not too far.

The #1 pick is a serial rapist who couldn't pass a 3rd grade class.
I don't know how anything anyone else in this class could do that would justify a drop in draft slot.

I don't think he'll fall that far. The toe is probably more of a concern.

I'm gonna guess Ray late 1st round.
Golden 5th-7th.
Morse 5th-7th.
Anyone else will sign as an UDFA.
And I agree. Someone will get a steal with Golden.

@NEPD_Loyko: #Mizzou OL Mitch Morse is going to go a lot higher than many think. Definitely Day 2 guy, wouldn't surprise if he gets into 2nd Round.
No wonder we were so good in 2013. Damn that team was talented.

Pretty sure he was arrested and released on his own recognizance

Not really; he's A LOT like Michael Sam in size & performance.
I hope Shane goes undrafted for being an idiot; I hope it costs him millions.

he got a ticket for a joint. meh.
I doubt he falls below 15. DGB beginning of the 2nd. MOrse end of 2nd. Golden mid 5th and Murphy/Sasser maybe 7th but most likely UDFA. My predictions.

Supply and demand/talent. There are plenty of good pass rushers/receivers in alot of drafts. There aren't many "franchise QB's" out there. I'm not a fan of Jameis, nor would I touch him with a 10-ft pole as a GM, but apparently people like his talent. I don't see it, but some do. But supply and demand is the answer.
FWIW, I'm not sure there is a "franchise QB" in this draft. Mariota is a contribute now guy, but I don't think he is an andrew luck or aaron rodgers.

The joint don't bother me. The poor decision making would bother me if I'm a GM. I mean here the guy is just days away from the draft and he can't recognize how big of a day this will be for him and just stay away from trouble for a few more days? I'd be a little concerned about what might be down the road. So at the end of the day, no, a joint is no big deal. The poor decision making is a concern.

Holy shite that's one expensive joint. Hope he enjoyed his high. Most of what I'm reading now has him late 1st round to early 2nd round. That's from a potential top 10 pick. Wonder how many millions of dollars that represents?

2 NFL teams, Denver and Seattle, play in states where weed is legal. California maybe the next state to legalize it. They have 3 teams and possibly a 4th, Rams. The dilemma for the NFL will be the laws of each state their teams play in. NFL may think they can supersede the laws of each state but I am sure a civil court in that state would say differently.

He got a ticket for having it. He claims he was not under any influences - which is kind of believable since it was Monday morning. So the weed that cost him millions he never even got to smoke...
It really is too bad that the cop probably took the weed from him only for the sake that he should get that crap bronzed. He should make a necklace out of it and wear to remind him how much that baggie cost him. He can be out getting ready to do something stupid and glance down at his necklace and go .. 'damn, nevermind guys.'
