I saw that there were questions about the situation in the other thread so I was going to start my own that could address the issue directly. I know yall want to know what is going on and there is a thread on PowerMizzou from people and what they are hearing.
I am hearing there is a situation with a female that he had sex with. She claims a sexual assault, and he says it was consensual. Texts on her phone showed that they had talked about having sex, but who knows if she might have changed her mind in the mean time. At this point, it is he said she said and the Student Board can throw him out of school for this. According to a couple posters they had voted 3-2 to expel him, but I guess its being appealed.
Apparently he also failed out of the B-School for grades, but accepted into the Ag School.
Again, just rumors on PowerMizzou. But I would think there is some fire to the smoke. If anybody has anything to add I guess do it here. Dont expect him back soon.

Just reporting what the talk is on PM. Ill give updates as they come. If others have info it would be good to contribute here, and we can keep the info in one thread.

If true, its for the Colombia Police and county PA to decide. The student board needs to stick to academic transgressions.

Apparently the prosecutor already threw out the case. That's why legally there is no issue. He still could be expelled from the school, though.

I blame whatever Dixon has done on Pinkel and his extra marital affairs.

Well this fits everything.
I've wondered why Haith looks so pissed in interviews, there just seems to be a negative vibe about things... this all makes sense.
The only bright side, from a basketball standpoint is Jabari Brown could replace Dixons production.

This is what I have come to expect. He will need a few games to get acclimated, but by conference time he will be ready to go.

Sexual assault rumors are true. Source wasn't sure about the vote, but confirmed he is being accused of sexual assault.

Then why even take him to Atlantis? That makes it seem like they expect resolution any day.
And if the DA has elected not to prosecute, I'd think they would have a tough time kicking him out of school, or off the team. Maybe it violates a code of conduct, but in a he said-she said situation, that's a difficult thing to prove.

The scuttlebutt is that there's suggestive text messages from she to he, which isn't definitive of anything but certainly muddies tr waters.

Agree.
There would have be a prior history of conduct for the Student Board to vote this way wouldnt there? Does Dixon have reputation on campus that has been out of the spotlight?

Dont know. Dont think its healthy to keep guessing as to whats going on as this is a young, amatuer college athlete.
Im with Semo, there just needs to be resolution so everyone involved can move on from this episode.

Student code of conduct includes non-consensual sex, cheating, physical violence, stalking and a whole host of issues.
