I couldn't imagine him leaving what he has built at TCU to come to mizzou.

He has them fighting for a top 10 spot every single year and we are nowhere near that level currently

Only two candidates I see that wouldn't be a disaster.

I don't see Patterson leaving TCU, I don't see Richt going back to the SEC at this point, and I don't see Herman in black and gold.

1. Patterson (can't argue with the success)
2. Fedora (very successfully especially considering the situation at UNC)
3. Hermann (ranked lower b/c of concern @ leaving for TX)
4. Odom (hear good things but no h/c experience)
.
.
.
.
.
.
10. Richt (he won't get a top 10 recruiting class at MU each year and he is not a good x/o's guy)

Realistic List: (1) Fedora, (2) Odom

I'd put Richt in there. But I don't think he's in Rhoades plan.

Dark horse candidate coming out, but he seems to make the most sense to me too.

Tired of the unreasonable expectations at Bama

Tier One big fish:
1. Richt
2. Patterson
3. Fedora
4. Herman
5. Petrino, only with Odom and/or Kul...Natty incoming boys. I can die in peace with a smile on my face and M-I-Z still on my lips. Can you imagine what Petrino would like to do to the SEC? He has the world's biggest chip on his shoulder. Let him chase every skirt in the athletic department...I don't care. No more lying to the bosses. Just WIN.

Tier Two smaller fish:
Odom
Bobo
Taggert
Riley
Calhoun
Babers
Wells
Dykes
This group is the very Mizzou-type of hire. There is some talent in Tier Two. But can they get us to the next level???

Ahh, what the hell. Might as well go for Leach and he can bring Grinch back to MU and can maybe keep Kul on staff somehow. If nothing else, Saturdays would be anything but boring...plus can you imagine the sweet arse pirate ship he'd buy to dock at the Lake?

Was just thinking about Leach earlier today. His offenses never struggle to score points. He'd be a great quote machine too.
