2 straight years of the same shite. Anemic offense.

Freshman QB, lets throw the ball 55 times

I think Hans's injury is worse than they want to let on. We can't establish a running game, and without that they can contain us pretty easily.

Fire him.
Fire that Illini Oline coach too.
Time for wholesale changes on the offensive side of the ball.

I mean, I get it. We are limited on offense but there simply is no excuse for being this awful. None whatsoever.

The blocking scheme along the line has been terrible all game. 0/12 on 3rd down because Lock has 1 second to throw the ball.
There's been 5 times where untouched guys have made it into the backfield.

Aj Ricker better be gone too.

This is simply unacceptable

Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks this way.
I don't even think personnel changes would help at this point. I think it all falls on Ricker's shoulders.

Play calling was also awful. I just don't get the pass pass pass pass pass pass run for 20 yards pass pass pass pass

Here is the thing. Players definitely receive a huge part of the blame as pretty much to a man they are playing like horseshite........
BUT
if as a coordinator you can't find ANYTHING that works you are simply not getting the job done. This is two straight seasons that the offense has been a huge drag on this team. If it doesn't turn around there had better be a very serious discussion this offseason about the OC. Way below the level of acceptable. We are too bad to make excuse for at this point.

Yep.
100% all in.
2013 was an outlier for Henson.
He has proven absolutely nothing, and does not provide the offensive coordination we need.
And let's be honest, with this defense we don't need a whole hell of a lot.
He is a abject failure. Time to move on.

I like Henson, but I'm pretty much there too. He and Ricker aren't getting it done. Same with what's-his-name who coaches the RBs. Pinkel needs to bring the hammer down, and hard. No excuse for this bullshite.

Worst offense I have seen since Woodenhofer was the Coach and that means heads need to roll, I would start with:
1. Ricker (OL has too much experience for this shite show)
2. Henson-Never and I mean NEVER throwing the middle of the field, playcalling is stale and predictable. I give him credit for shorting our splits and running the ball more but then tonight totally abandoned the run.
3. Position Coaches, I would probably start with Washington way too much miscommunication on pass plays.

If GP wants to get over the hump, he has to bring in the right guys.
Stop this bs promoting of "his" guys.
You get enough of your guys around you and you're bound to fail.
He has the talent.
They are young and there. Get the right coaches GP.
If Don was around, he'd tell you as much. You've built this program correctly, now keep the right pieces, (Ivey, Coach Kul), complement them and complement yourself.
This isn't going anywhere until that happens.

It's just such a mess at this point you can't point to one thing, and when that happens you have to point to the top. Henson runs the offense. He calls the plays. Maybe GP should take the reigns on that? frick, I don't know. Seems hopeless at this point.

When the cameras are showing the bench, I try to look for Henson to see what he is doing. I only saw him one time tonight after a long TV timeout and he was just standing there not saying anything to any of the players. Other coaches seem to be at least doing "something".
I have said for the last two years that anybody can defense Mizzou because he is so absolutely predictable in the play calling.

Very true. He needs to go outside the program for talent. I remember when Yost left, and it seemed like Henson got the nod because they were afraid he would leave. We wanted to keep him, and so Mizzou became his first OC gig. We loved him in 2013. It's been downhill ever since.

He's in the booth.
Change that maybe? Get him on the field? Do something. Anything.

2013 also had real receivers. Did you see that pass Brown dropped? At this point it's just inexcusable.
I don't want to see Mauk again this year.
