Tilmon had a great junior year at La lumiere iirc. Last year he was DOMINATE on D, but thats about it. Wasnt lethal at 6'10 which is never good. Not even kidding, Rosburg looked way better as a senior in HS

We need Tilmon to rebound and defend the rim.

Any scoring would be gravy, but he's better 10 ft in than people give him credit for.

he could have battled injury too, which would make sense as to why he had such a rough year. But I haven't heard anything on that front.

Tilmon missed the AAU season with an injury before his senior season.

Rosburg played more like a Stefan Jankovic when he was in high school.

Still though. We are a lot better if add Tilmon or Jontay. Or preferably both.

See JQ we are really not that far apart when it comes to our hopes and desires regarding the BB program.

dammit I didn't get to see the original message.

Anyway I do enjoy your enthusiasm, but you are like 90% full of shite. It's pretty entertaining.

I'm not digging out all your post's especially when you will still deny it when you are looking right at it, but the thread is easy.

We will land Knox, Tilmon and Smith by heysus

Deny that and you will make Trump look like an amateur

Right, cause that's obviously an iron clad, I've got inside info type of post.

Good lord...

ETA: I 100% thought we would get Tilmon. I'm far from the only one. Who knows now, too much time has passed for it to be the lock it once seemed to be. If he doesn't come here you and msandyvag are more than welcome to come here and puff your interwebz chests. I know you're looking forward to it.

noooo clue how credible mizzou podcast is but...

"Tilmon still leaning to Mizzou over DePaul. Expect announcement day or two before 5/17 deadline. ACT issues should be clear by summer."

Could still be impermissible benefit issues with his recruitment.

For what it's worth I heard Cusumano say on his radio show today Mizzou continues to pursue Tilmon heavily.

Yeah. We still think we're in the lead from what I heard today. We're waiting on some NCAA resolution to the Illini situation and perhaps his academic questions to get cleared up.

I am still holding hope for Tilmon and with Kemp apparently leaving my remaining best case scenario is still viable. Tilmon at the 5, Jontay at the 4 and MPj at the 3 would make for a dynamic front line for at least a yr. or just maybe two.

I think Mizzou would be better with Tilmon of the bench in that scenario.
JP at the 5, MPJ at the 4, Barnett at the 3. Puryear and Tilmon get most of the remaining front court time.
Phillips, Robertson, Roberts and Harris take most of the backcourt minutes.
