How many people would boycott if they were 9-0?

I basically said that earlier.lmao.

Tickets on stubhub would be high as frick. I hope Mizzou fans boycott the Tennessee game too. While at it boycott the basketball team, they most likely sided with the blacks too.

Better yet disband the football team so the SEC would kick you out, SEC invite was all about football. Maybe Mizzou can move to the MAC like the Wrestling team because that's the type of recruits you'll get, MAC caliber players. Fans sure as hell don't like the football team.

They may have personally, which is fine...but they didn't do it as a team.

No, Mizzou fans (especially donors, word is they want Pinkel out) don't like ignorant and stupid actions and reactions from our sports teams and coaches.

Want Pinkel out??? Um who will you get that's better...stadium sucks, fan support sucks, already lost a 3* player over this shite, maybe more to come.

Now who will coach Mizzou better than Pinkel...hell who would want to move to Columbia after this fiasco. If recruits start falling, Mizzou will be worse than KU for years in football. Better build yourself into a basketball and baseball school...that's where it's heading.

Well, your arse wouldn't be supporting them if the team came out in favor of closing down Planned Parenthood or supporting Donald Trump. Don't get high and mighty with us just because you agree with them ideologically.

Don't know, just have to wait and see.

Was a weak recruiting cycle anyways. Very little instate talent coming out.

I bet lots of coaches who want to be paid millions would step in.

Basketball sure...but we've never been a baseball school, nor will we likely ever be.

If Missouri State can be a baseball school...Mizzou could easily out recruit them if they wanted to.

I'm not saying I agree with thier decision. You said they supported suicide and that wasn't the case according to their statements. Again I don't like or agree with their support of Butler. To say that they supported suicide is false because then they would have just let him die.

I agree, they should have just picked his arse up and took him to a mental hospital if it was real.

Another reason why I think the whole hunger strike was a hoax. They didn't want cameras near his tent because it would have exposed the lie.

Right on 5th!

Mizzou's reputation took a hit.

I'm mixed on my feeling about HCGP. I feel that he didn't have a choice but to support his players to save face...the program's and his own. At the same time, did he made it clear to the players that any protest by them must be justified and built on truth? Did he make it clear that there would be consequences to the players, team and school regardless? A P-5 team protest is a BIG deal.

"Saving a young man life"...HA! It's a choice not to eat. After a couple of weeks, he's in a hospital and you hook up the IV. That problem would have solved itself. Do you think his parents would let him starve? No.

But if the "money men" say he's got to go...okay. "Next man up" as GP likes to say.

That isn't how it works. I can't just demand something and put blame on someone else for my suicide. Football players helped him get his demands, using suicide as collateral. Whether they thought about that or not, it is what happened.

Instead they supported it.

Supposedly several big time boosters met with Rhodes and said they want GP to step down over all this

They got what they wanted. Now we'll see how current players and future recruits feel about Pinkel leaving...a coach who loved them, supported them. It's about to get interesting.

Yeah, some of the gloom and doom statements I read here seems like an exaggeration.
