I can guarantee you the AD doesn't agree.

The guy who hired him probably felt this was the main mission once he realized he couldn't hire someone big. Mission 1a became clean house and stabilize the program -- which appears to be happening.

The guy who's there now is just making sure things are moving in a positive direction, in however little increments that may be, until the situation is healthy enough and he can land a big fish.

Playing the positive and negative game..

If you did that with football, which would have a ridiculously long list of negatives, would you not consider all the meta things about BO?

Things are looking good. A lot to like about what he's doing.

This is probably the key. This team is starting now to show some of the same characteristics that KAs CMU teams.
They don't turn the ball over. Make the other team hit tough shots. The problem is that it should have started in year 1 instead of year 3.

Shocking to me that a stickler of fundamentals (the boring stuff) and a demander of hard work couldn't squeeze that out of a mixed bag locker room of guys he didn't recruit.

Exactly. A good coach raises the level of play from his team no matter where they came from. A bad coach needs his handpicked guys just to approach mediocrity.

Saying 'exactly' to that doesn't make sense when it's followed by what you said.

Being a stickler for fundamentals and a demander of hard work doesn't make you a bad coach -- which is how your reply reads.

I know, which is why it is shocking the coaching has been so bad while demanding that.

You're bizarrely negative and clearly have no interest in genuine discussion.

Yeah. At this point it's about something more than the actual topic.

But you could have, and probably more appropriately said that to the other person.

Not a Haith fan either but I think some blow it out of proportion how bad he left the program in.

JW3 is a slid contributor for an undefeated Gonzaga against a lot tougher competition than we've played.

Wright and Gant are still sitting out so who knows. Teki hasn't done much. Beyond that I don't see where guys like Geist, Woods, CVL are heads and tails better

There are only two reasons to support KA:

1) You hate Mizzou (kansas fans love KA)
2) You're fricking moron

Real Mizzou fans want KA fired before the end of this game.

I'm just ready for us to be competitive. I believe that's what most fans want... Other then those who are so homered, they would rah rah, and point out the "positives" of a 20 loss team.... For yet another year.

There is nothing fair weathered, about wanting and expecting a team to be competitive.

Those crying "fair weather fans, can simply Fk off.

Face the facts, our BB team, isn't lacking effort... It's lacking coaching.

Coaching is what identified the types of players who will come here and work, and they're the ones demanding it on a daily basis pushing people to meet expectations.

If you want to talk about what is needed -- it's a couple two or three legit players and experience. In today's game the other team had better players above all else. I do want to get on coaches for bozo fundamental errors too. I see both sides.

A team of all underclassmen with no real serious high level talent got beat by a group of better players -- and yes, perhaps out coached too. But to recognize one you should recognize the other.

Also, there, aren't, commas, just because, your brain takes a, pause while, you're completing, thoughts.

what about guys like Puryear, Hughes, Jackson, Bryant, Walton?

Gill-Caesar is playing and avg 7 pts a game and shooting 28% at SDSU down from 36% at Mizzou. - clearly a coaching problem
