While this is not a home run, game changing pick up, and his is really tiny for the major D1 level, at least he's a top 150 guy on 247 and almost a 4*. We could and have done worse in this class. Probably 2 scholarships left, I guess we hope for Bryant/Kapitia and Mulder, who's a 4* JUCO kid on 247, to finish out the class.

He might not be the flashy name or highest rated recruit, but I think some of the things I see in his highlights actually fits a big need for Mizzou right now. I see a lot of dribble penetration with kick outs or dumping off to a team mate.

Rivals article

This guy gets it. Says he thinks Mizzou had 14 assists as a team today. Says he averages 14 assists a game just by himself. Sees where he can come in an instantly help the team in that regard.

Couple other notes from the article:

* Not that he's as good, but just passed Rajan Rondo in career assists at Oak Hill and will likely set the school record.

* Speaking of Oak Hill, good place to make in roads, much like Huntington Prep.

* And speaking of Huntington Prep, he credits his relationship with Fulford for him being offered and committing to Mizzou.

now all the MIZZOU fans can get a look @FloorGeneral03 in early Jan when he and OHA come to Springfield, MO and play in the Bass Pro TOC.

Killz and others in the area can get an early look at Phillips. I suspect it's some good high school basketball in that tourney.

Oak Hill had 5 guys go high D1 per ESPN.

In 2016 class, the #88 player is a 6'11" center, Rodney Miller.

Kobie Eubanks is down to Georgia, Oregon, UConn, Missouri, Providence, Louisville, Kansas, USF, Maryland and Virginia Tech.

He only has an offer to Mizzou out of that group according to Rivals.

Missouri bringing my squad down to Springfield! @BassProTOfC Jan 15 at 6:30! Show some love! #GrindForNine

I wonder if we can get a bigger crowd for this game than a home game. Seriously though, if you like high school hoops, should be some quality games. And the Mizzou stuff in front of his team mates isn't a bad thing. Oak Hill is the original basketball factory. I think their starting 5 are Mizzou, Oregon, PSU, PSU, FSU.

Cannot allow the instate kids to get away.

KA gets some slack on Whitt and Morgan because he had just come on board. But now, off the top of my head, you've got Tatum, Cook, Porter, Tilmon and I'm sure I'm missing some. Not sure what the rest of the state has coming up. Those are just STL kids.

We get none of those kids.

Not even mad.

STL gone STL

(porter is CoMo kid, yes?)
