My bad. Yepp. But closing the doors to the state was one of the big things mentioned. I'd like to think we get at least a couple.

Imagine:

PG Whitt
SG Tatum
SF Porter
PF Cook
C Tilmon

Just land your instate kids and you'd have a helluva team. Obviously, no Whitt, but could still put together a helluva team. Though Tatum is probably one and done. While not the same height or position, Tatum has this fade away jumper that reminds me of Tim Duncan, just from further out. Just cannot be defended at his height at the position he plays. Smooth and effortless.

Phillips seems to really love Mizzou already. His twitter is covered with Mizzou stuff which is great to see. He is a top 150 guy on 247, the more I think about it the more I like this guy.

Can't remember if we talked about it, but his Oak Hill team plays on ESPN at 3.

Hard to see what we've got here. High school kids playing on ESPN doesn't provide a good look at their abilities. He's got a nice lob, a missed layup and a couple turnovers.

Well. All I can say is, there is bad refereeing at all levels. They went from letting them just play to blowing the whistle on every possession.

Oh well.

I like him a lot, you can see the flashes of talent. Oak Hill has way more talent then Hamilton, but they are a poorly coached team. When Phillips is focused and locked in, he looks like a college PG. When it's not his turn with the basketball he seems disinterested. Idk what kind of defense OH is trying to run but it's awful and not working. Hamilton is up 15 at half 40-25.

Yeah, he seems very idle without the ball in his hands. He's best penetrating and either throwing the lob or kicking out.

My impression has always been that there's not much coaching at Oak Hill, just a accumulation of talent and let them just play. I think with some coaching up, he can be a very solid PG.

Oak Hill got jobbed, IMO.

He was very fast. I'm not sure how that translates to the next level.

He is still the starting PG for OH and a 3*. I'm not bitching about getting him. He can't hurt us.

Any chance Vanleer or Puryear ask out? Im looking for us to build around J3 and the freshman. We need two centers in this class. Rosburg cant hack it and Im not comfortable with the idea of success if he plays any real minutes next season.

Bryant might be a wet dream but he, Kapita and Lyle are needed badly.

Ive read board rumbles that Clark may go, I dont see it. But if he did with Isabell and the incoming PG....so be it.

When you're the 3rd string QB and the head cheerleader asks you to homecoming, you don't say no because she's too good for you.

So we may get 17 wins next year? I am not trying to kill these kids dreams. Offering is fine, letting them commit early is another. We knew we'd have glaring holes for next year. Neither of those two fill it. If they were recruits for 2017, possibly.

Vanleer would be a stud at SMS and Puryear cant do anything with his right, too small to be a 4 and not athletic enough to be a 3.

Neither are going to leave. I doubt we get Lyle. I really doubt we get Bryant. Maybe Kapita but sounds like he may have issues qualifying. So who's up after that?

Personally, I'd be more afraid of not being able to fill the numbers if either asked out.

Do we even know how to recruit centers? The last successful one was Johnson. I mean we couldn't even reel in Goodluck and he is Oriahki cousin.

If everyone stays but Bello. Maybe even Bello I dont even see how Vanleer see's the floor next year and Puryear wont ever play over Gant, Teki, Williams, or Allen

If he can shoot, he will play. That is what this team lacks sorely. J3 needs to work on his and stop shooting from 3 until he's improved it. Gant..ditto. Allen...ditto. Teki is a volume shooter but better than the other 3.

Clark and Isabel can be streaky. I think Wright is our best shooter. If VanLeer can adjust to the level of competition and shoot the ball, he'll have a role.

He may end up having a role, my point is this team doesn't need role players coming in next year they need a lot more.

Don't disagree with that. Time for these guys to earn their paychecks when it comes to recruiting. Guys that KA landed fresh (not keeping guys on board):

Shamburger
3* Allen
3* Isabel
4* Teki

3* Puryear
3* VanLeer
3* Phillips

I'm seeing a trend.

I'd put Wright in there, he actually re-opened his recruitment
