Exactly.... I've been really impressed with Kim Anderson and his decisions so far. Advice I give myself is to chill out and enjoy what we've got going on....

What kind of odds do you give Mizzou landing Tatum? It is early, but if you're not even one of the schools pushing for the kid hardest, what does that say about your chances in the future? Hell, he even listed SLU. I really like what Anderson has done thus far but it's time to take a page out of Norm's book. Time to land the best in-state player every year and then supplement from there.

I kinda might know his hs coach.

There's a 75% chance that he's 55% leaning Mizzou.

I was told (not by his hs coach, but a teacher at his hs) that he likes Mizzou. I'd guess a lot rides on how the Anderson era takes off.

If you're serious, that's the most encouraging thing I've heard about Tatum.

Way to early to get worked up about it.

I'm not worked up about it. I just thinks there's a less than 10% chance he ends up at Mizzou. And that's not a knock on KA or anything. It's just the way it is.

Just confirmed the commitment news with Tramaine Isabell himself. The Tigers 2014 recruiting class is one of the best in the SEC.

New Mizzou hoops commitment. Per Rivals, a 3* PG from Seattle with offers from Providence, Auburn and Seattle. Was a Washington State commit at one time so maybe others stopped pursuing until after he decommitted. Seems solid. Anyone know anything about him? ATX?

He is basically Rector 2.0 from what I've read. Supposedly he'll need a couple of years to get adjusted to the college game and may start contributing around his Junior year. Seems like a project, nothing to get excited about unfortunately. I was hoping we'd go hard after Octus and then get Caesar to reclassify to 2014.

Hopefully they still pursue Caesar, a top 25 shooting guard would really help out this year. He averaged 22ppg at the U18 championships this last week and seems to be the real deal.

Isabell does not look like a project. He has speed and quickness, good ball handler, can distribute and sees the floor well. I think he will come in and compete for PT. He can score too. Looks like a good free throw shooter as well.

I completely disagree. When I saw Rector's film out of high school I was completely disinterested. This kid on the other hand is a pure scorer/leader/floor general. I loved his tape and am excited about what he can contribute. I think he's going to surprise early!

I just don't see it, and I was going off of what Eric Bossi said on PM. We're not the only ones needing PG help, yet no one else was after him except Providence. I'm not mad we took him, I just don't think he'll see the floor much. Personally I hope we push for Caesar with the last scholarship and can land Whitt next year and it's all a moot point.

G - Shamburger/Clark/Bello/Wright/Isabelle
F - Beidschied/JW3/Gant/Allen
C - Rosburg/Post/Jones

I'm trusting KA more and more every day, but I still don't see where the scoring comes from.

Where's the perimeter threat there? Where's the interior threat there?

If you watch his tape he can play. led his team to a state championship and shot I believe 49% and 83% from 3 and FT. Those are really solid numbers.

I agree, the scoring concerns me. I think we'll see a shift from 3 power scorers like last year to a bunch of guys averaging 9-12ppg. I'm optimistic about this season, but I think it will be a bumpy ride and definitely a rebuilding year.

I'm assuming his recruiting didn't take off because it looks like he had a mediocre AAU circuit last summer. Looks like he averaged about 10 ppg and had as many turnovers as assists. His high school does play in the largest division of athletics in Washington, though I don't know what the competition level is like in Washington. I imagine he'll be a contributor but I don't know if he'll be an instant contributor.
