Wish some of these early games were on SECN+/streamed. Listened to those that were on KTGR.
Problem is the parks we're playing at aren't set up with cameras. It would have to be set up. Mizzou has cameras on their field so I suspect once they start playing in COMO, they'll be on watch ESPN. Just too much expense to pay to set it up and run it when it's not otherwise there.

I think Mizzou's problem with nothing streaming on SECN/Watch Espn early in the season is that they play a lot of neutral site/away games in warmer climates to start the season. The infrastructure isnt workable/cost prohibitive for Mizzou to produce the event for streaming on SECN
Said it better than me. It will change once they get home.

I dunno. If the games are able to be shown on Watch ESPN, then I think they should also be shown on SEC Network Alternate. I don't see the complication. I would much rather watch on TV than Watch ESPN.

I think it has to do with the volume of content. Im not sure ESPN has the ability to "regionalize" the coverage of the SECN and SECN+. They pick two games that they want to cover ahead of time and then push everything else to the streaming end.

You can. Get an AppleTV and stream it on your TV. That's how I watch most Mizzou sporting events.

You could also connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your TV.

I know it's far more popular, but ESPN2 has shown the extra college football game that wasn't shown on ABC in the past. A long time ago the ESPN Alternate channels you see in your DirecTV or Dish Network lineup used to carry another MLB game when the other game would be blacked out in that market.

May eventually get one. I would still need an account and password from Mediacom since my apartment provides cable. I'd prefer to just be able to watch games on TV without dealing with that.

I just use a Chromecast and stream it on my non AppleTV.

Said when Bieser was hired that he would do great things at Mizzou. It is early, but his teams always hit! Sucked seeing him leave SEMO(I attend a lot of their games), but he deserved the chance at Mizzou. They need to keep hitting as SEC games get closer. Glad they are finally on SEC+ this weekend!
