Why would you, as a Mizzou fan/student/alum, not "care" about Mizzou athletics doing well?

I always want our athletic programs to do well. It's just that we always complain about all the fair weather fans we have and that's exactly what I'm seeing in this thread. Where were all these baseball threads last year? I'm personally not a fan of college baseball. It's not my cup of tea. That doesn't mean that I'm suddenly gonna get on here and act like I'm the biggest Mizzou baseball fan ever just because we won a few non-conference games. Some of the same people in this thread are the ones claiming that they didn't care about college baseball last year. That's all I'm gonna say.

You and your alters have always screamed "fair weather" around here.

That's the cold truth, sorry.

Alters? Like who? I've never had an alter. This is my main account. I found this site almost two years ago through watching SEC trash talking videos on YouTube.
Someone in the comment section linked the website telling the guy who made the trash talking video that this was a great site for SEC football trash talking and the rest is history.

Sorry you're rustled.

It is interesting that you showed up on the board with a two year feud with SC already in place.

and missouri fans aren't all fair weather. We don't demand championships to follow. It's just when teams really suck rather than torture ourselves we do something else.

Once Cullen and Vitello were gone, Jamison's teams leveled out and there was very little to be excited about last year other than Houck and McClain. McClain was a game above .500 for his career and got two years of the worst run support possible.

As another poster stated, its early. I would counter with the fact that they weren't hitting .350 as a team 9 games into any of the last 5 seasons under Jamison.

The team is still short on talent but Bond and Brumfield aren't the same players at the plate. Glendinning, Berier and Misner have made nice contributions as Fr.

They are 9-1 and the Ace of the staff just had his best game of the year. There is plenty to like so far.

Jesus Christ. Mizzou fans I swear.

Brother, I and those in this thread have always talked baseball. Not as many talk it but we have. Just wasn't much good to talk about under TJ. Try again my friend.

Judging from what I dug up in minutes, you are wrong.

Then get the frick out of the thread.

I think you're wrong to an extent and to the extent you're not...is there anything wrong with the program bringing more fans into the fold?

Probably can't separate it from this comment but I'd say that when there was no Scherzer and Crow, there wasn't much to get excited about.

To be fair, baseball hasn't given the fans much to cheer for in a long time.
