Sounds like De Oca pitched decent today. Still struggling a bit with his control. Was able to pitch around it. At least the parts I listened to. Only listened to the first few innings but for a guy that can hit 99, I was surprised how many breaking balls he was throwing.

I'm just pumped that Bieser is going to bring Mizzou down to Cape next year to play SEMO for a midweek game!

Super excited to talk about my favorite college sport: baseball.

Yes.

This is what we've been reduced to, but yay college baseball.

And I'm actually serious.

(I'm just trolling MS2)

College baseball is super exciting. I've never noticed before how fun it is to hear the ball go "ping" off the aluminium bats.

And the small ball is super exciting, too. We had a walk off single. Pretty awesome.

I hear they don't ping anymore.

Also, the stadium looks fine on tv.

It is what it is. I'm not professing to be a longtime diehard, but this team is pretty fun so far.

Nice win streak to end the season, and an even nicer victory over Texas A&M who swept at Columbia earlier in season. Houck wasn't very good, but the offense really came alive. I was listening on SEC Network until the lightning delay. Ben McDonald said the team still needs to win a few more games to make the NCAA Tournament. LSU up next in best 2 of 3.

Yup, still in the hunt.

Rough patch in the middle of the season, but all in all a very good yr 1 for Bieser

I agree JQ and am willing to admit I was not initially excited with the hire. It is my hope that he is able to bring MU BB back to national "competitiveness"

My guess is they would have had to have won 2 or 3 in the SEC tourney. Very very very outside shot they make it now.
