I agree with this, a stadium is only as damaging as you make it to be. If they practice hand signals and silent counts all week it shouldn't be an issue.
What they do need to do is stop LSU's offense, if they can show the fans and the players that firing Miles wasn't going to fix the offense right away, they will become discouraged and frustrated and that could lead to a Mizzou win.

31-12 Mizzou
LSU's D can't keep up with our O.....it's distinctly possible that Heuple gets arrested and charged with manslaughter.

While they can certainly be loud and rowdy at LSU they can also sit on their hands or leave the stadium very early if LSU falls behind in the game.
If Missouri has a fast start then LSU could be a lot of trouble because they aren't built for second half comebacks. They are a front runner team, which also means if they get an early lead they will just wear you out.
24-14 Swamp People. They will come out fired up which will prevent y'all from jumping on them early.

45-13 Mizzou. No way they are ready for the Mizzou Air Raid in 5 days. The OL has not given up a sack, if they lay off in the zone, Lock carves them up, our run defense is crazy confident. Mizzou doesnt make the same mistake as the UGA game, Odom and Heupal keep their foot on the gas.

Young team..hostile environment...LSU fans and team fired up with the coaching change...normally a recipe for disaster.. MU has to limit the penalties and hold on to the ball and they have a chance.

No prediction but an observation.
Looking at some LSU message boards and blogs this week they focused almost entirely on the coaching change. There was little coverage about the game Saturday. They believe strongly they will win. I saw more talk about Florida and Alabama and who the new coach will be than about Missouri. Maybe they are right to think that way.
Maybe the LSU team has been the same way this week and they aren't ready for Mizzou. All the uproar before last year's BYU game didn't hurt Missouri, but who knows about LSU.

If Mizzou scores 28, I think they win handily. Heck, I think if the offense drives like it has while limiting LSU and forcing a few early 3 and outs, it has the potential to get ugly.
Likewise, if Lock doesn't work effectively and explosively and the offense stumbles, it could get ugly in the other direction.

Fournette is banged up and is their only real offensive weapon, he's watching his heisman campaign disappear and now his health for the NFL draft may be all that is on his mind. This may be the week he starts to phone it in to try to stay healthy.

I would be surprised to see fournette play. He hasn't practiced all week.
I think they brought him back too early last week.

We can't say that with full confidence right now.
They have real playmakers at WR.
There's a chance they're working on getting them the ball more.
Who knows though..
We're going to skill crush them either way.

For his sake, I hate this. He is so incredibly talented.
Is Guice his backup? Can you tell us a little about him? Our DL is talented and capable of shutting down a run game, they're pretty stout. But, they're still getting comfortable with the new scheme.
I know about Dupree and Chark. Other offensive skill players we should pay attention to?

Guice is good. Really good. He was a 5* recruit out of Baton Rouge. He won't show as much straight line speed as fournette, and will show a bit more elusiveness rather than just running through of over defenders like fournette does. He's tough to bring down and shows great balance.
Here he is against USC last year
As for other players to watch for, Dural is our senior WR. He, along with Chark are our biggest deep threats. They will also try to get him the ball on some quick bubble screens. He's pretty good with the ball in space. Under miles, we were a terrible screen team though.
Also, watch out for Guice out the backfield. He played slot receiver in the under armor all American game his senior year of high school. He's a bit more refined catching the ball than fournette and could create some mismatches.
We've been better at throwing to our TEs this year (we were awful last year), but it's nothing that should be too concerning for y'all. If your DBs and LBs tackle well, y'all should be able to stop LSUs offense. The great thing about this game is that nobody really knows what to expect out of LSUs offense.

I kind of went the other way with it. I think Mizzou will turn some heads in the SEC this week.

Wishful thinking. If we win they will focus on how bad lsu is and how we got lucky with fournette's injury.

Your screen name is one the weakest male figures in cinematic history and everything you post is with a limp wrist.
Just calling it like I see it.

That will be a really interesting matchup, and could cause problems for us. Our DL is good enough to contain, or at least slow down, a good run game. But I think, just based on what I've seen so far, that we could be vulnerable to a good slot receiver over the middle. Our safeties are young and not tested.
We have 1 really good corner in Aarion Penton, the others are less experienced; one, Gibson, can be fantastic or horrible, not much in between. My guess is they put Penton on Chark.
I've heard mixed reports on your secondary. Some say it's loaded with talent, and really good; others say talented, but underachieves. They don't have great stats - but that could also be a function of the competition. What's your opinion?

No prediction here......Just looking for improvement, week to week.
We've shown we can beat, the nobody's... Let's see how long it takes, to beat a real team.
Like most agree. If we can score early....... Their fans won't hang around for long.
